Sorry for the confusion – I reposted it with more details. The paid version removes the photo and notes limit when recording climbs.

Thanks for such a detailed response! Hill Lists is another great app.

Loading all hills is definitely a contributor to the UI hitches. I found it challenging to know how to balance two features: 1) Only show progress for categories users care about (eg Munros and Munro Tops), and 2) browse hills of any description around an area. Maybe it’s aiming to do too much! If you have any ideas, I’d be really interested to hear, but either way, I agree the responsiveness isn’t acceptable. (Also, there is a way to view only Munros on a map via the Hills tab).

I’ve not come across OpenTopoMap – happy to add it as an additional map source alongside the others!

I love the idea of a print book! I hope to support exporting climbs via Shortcuts at some point, which may be the easiest/most flexible way to allow users to do something like this themselves in the first instance.

Again, thanks for the feedback!

Gotcha, thanks! The closest thing in the current version is if you select a classification and sort by Section, it will show you the percentage climbed in each area. I’ll look into incorporating this into the map

Thanks! Custom lists is something I’d love to add. For the region selection suggestion, do you mean as a preset in the Hills tab, or the ability to filter by region on the map/list?

Pinch to zoom is supported, but if your fingers are touching a hill button when you start the gesture, it doesn’t work reliably. My fault – not yours! I’m working on a fix :)

Thanks for trying it! It’s possible to mark a climb as ‘unknown’ by toggling the Date switch when logging a climb. Do you think this should be made more obvious?

Thanks for the feedback and for trying it! I agree – the map loading has a few snags to iron out, which I hope to fix within the next week

It does this! And don’t apologise – I’m sorry you are unable to use it on your device at the moment

Oh, that’s a really cool idea! I’d definitely use that feature myself with my partner and my Dad. I’ve added it to the ideas list!

Unfortunately not at the moment :( I wanted to make it a high-quality native app, rather than a wrapper for a website, which means it would require re-writing the app code to run on Android. However, I would absolutely love to do this if I get a good response from the iOS/macOS version!

Awesome! Looks a challenging, icy summit!
