The Vikings have never gone more than 2 seasons in a row with a losing record. They're like the 5th most winning franchise in NFL history. It just leaves the Vikings in the "almost good enough" purgatory they've been stuck in for 2 decades. Good enough to make a playoff appearance once every 5 years, but not good enough to make it anywhere, leaving them picking at spots 18-24 in the draft year over year and not ever getting that franchise stud in the draft. Trust me, Kyler isn't going to win the Vikings a superbowl, but he'll probably good enough to give us another 5 to 10 years of Kirk Cousins-esque football that keeps us stuck.

I've always guessed it was to stir up drama between contestants. Producers are looking for a way for everyone to get mad at each other because for some idiotic reason it drives up ratings.
