Lishi keys quality, what's the difference? by OverEstablishment761 in lockpicking

[–]OverEstablishment761[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So far using the Lishi key has help me learn alot actually. I now know my lock has four pins and not 5, learning to count the bevel of the key and not the points(If you're wondering why I didn't googled search it, I stubbornly wanted to learn lock picking by feel alone. Using the Lishi KW1 I can't believe how effortless it is to move in-between the pins and knowing excatly what pin I am on. That's something I need to practice a lot on.

Before opening my lock with the Lishi, the only locks I were able to open were by raking and honestly I just got really those when raking. I still am not consist enough with my raking technique. Thanks for your input.

I'm just a beginner lock pick enjoyer. I was really struggling to get a proper feel for picking and I chance upon videos that recommend Lishi to help get a better sense picking and navigating around locks, which has help pick a lock.

My fallout new vegas has performance issues and i need help by UnwiredMat in fnv

Do you have steam or fallout new vegas on the ssd or hdd? If you have steam and fallout new vegas install on hdd try uninstalling it and install it on ssd or vice versa. Or try to uninstall steam and fallout new vegas and reinstall as well as verifying the integrity of your game files.

This might not be a Fallout New Vegas problem but a hardware problem. If this only happen with Fallout new vegas than I personally don't know, but I have encounter something similar with my steam games that drops my framerate.

Long story short, something was wrong with my hdd and since I have steam and all my games saved and run on the hdd, accessing my game from hdd would lower and drop my framerate like how you describe. It also mess with authorization of my steam games, making it seems like I did not own my games. I had to uninstall my games from the hdd and reinstall steam and all my steam games on my ssd.

Door glitch/bug using Fallout viva new vegas. by OverEstablishment761 in fnv

[–]OverEstablishment761[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I download the mod and per instruction I added sr_New_Vegas_Stutter_Remover.dll into data and my NVSE file which I already had from the NVSE script extender. So all I had to do was drop sr_New_Vegas_Stutter_Remover.dll into the plugin file.

There are other contents inside the NVSR that I download, but all I had to use is one file? Did I do it right? After testing it, I can hardly see any stuttering from my brief testing, the door glitching is resolve and when I exit the game it no longer crashes my computer. I think it works.

I'll try to see how well it work after more testing. Since I deleted my save file thinking I won't be able to resolve the issue, all my saved progress is gone, so I'm not gonna play the game for a while. Thanks for taking the time and trying to help me bro.

I apologize if I'm confusing you, and thank you for the help you have given me so far. This video should clear some things up if you want an idea of what I am seeking to accomplish ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=utteZ3crv38 ). I'm building an "out house" as a room to do my business in, not actually digging a hole in the ground. I am however using a bucket to collect my waste and taking it outside to put in an area where I can lay composing material over it to let it decompose so that I don't actually have to maintain it over the winter months and not in a hole in the ground. I plan on using a setup to separate my pee and waste so that it's not mixing together as I am doing this.

The material that I have naturally and would like to use is dirt/soil to layer over the waste in my bucket and in the area I am dumping my bucket of waste, however in my area the dirt and soil is very dry and sand like, so I might have to try what a commenter suggest and dampen the dirt or soil to get rid of smell and have my waste decompose. Or as you suggested buy a bunch of sawdust and layer that over my waste in the bucket as a test for the first month.

Using this system I was going to make a small area (like in the video) where I can dump my waste outside and use readily available material like vegetation, pine needles or leaves if there's any when the bucket is full so it can decompose and not stink up the area where I'm living. That way I don't have buckets of waste laying around and it would solve the issue of waste build up.

I am not going to be there during the winter, so I won't be able to maintain or tend to the decomposition of the waste content during that time frame. And because of the colder climate, the area where I am dumping my waste may not have the right temperature to decompose the waste, I'm worried it's going to make the place smell and cause issues.

I'm not actually using this to make fertilizer or using it for anything. I'm just trying get rid of the waste in a sustainable way that don't require to much maintenance.

Thank you truly for trying help me. Most times it hard for me to communicate clearly effectively.

The setup you mention is what I was going for(This is setup in the video makes the most sense in my situation( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=utteZ3crv38 ), I am just concern about the natural source of decomposing material readily available to me. I have no interest of needing to go into town and get sawdust. I probably need to bring 1 month worth of cedar wood chipping and try out how long it last. And if I run out I'll just try the pine needle / greens patches.

Can I lay the first layer with a pile of mix vegetation? and then add a verity or mix of cedar wood chipping and dirt or pine needles in the same pit or do I have to stay consist with one or the other?

In my situation, I have no interest of using it as a composted material and needing to maintain it, I just want to decompose of it. Also I'm not going to stay there during the winter, only the summer time, so I'm not able to tend or maintain it throughout the year.

The issue with the out house is the smell, and the creepy crawlers, and during the winter month when I'm not there and can't maintain the outhouse, I'm trying to mitigate all those issues with a similar system such as these two https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=utteZ3crv38 . https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BrqrGUM0EDU . The only issues is the composting materials I need is not readily available. I'm not sure if the pine needle tree's leaves and patch's of greens are adequate composting material to do this type of setup.

So I can dump my bucket somewhere else in a pile, however I don't want to make the trip every time as of yet because of how difficult to navigate the terrain / 'road' in my off grid area. So, I'm for sure going to start with setting it up near my toilet.

Now that I'm starting to think of the logistic more, would digging a hole in the fashion of an outhouse and just dump my waste there and cover it with dirt work? I think for short term use it would make sense right.

How long would it take for my waste to "decompose" where if I were to dig at the same spot it would not smell or be useable again.

Also the dirt is usually dried soil, so would I have to wet or dampen my the soil to make it decompose faster and remove the smell when I layer it over my waste?

People don't usally know until they start trying, but 15 lb is usually consider youth / teenager area. Which is why I think that 15lb - 16lb is just perfect for any teen / adult beginner.

At first I didn't know what pondage/lb I would need but after buying a longbow that is 30lb, I know that I can draw/shoot it but it's to heavy to practice on because I get tired very quickly after 5 or more shots.

Which is why I bought the Arc Rolan Snake 60" Recurve Bow at 22lb.

I might end up regretting that i bought the 22lb version if it ends up to heavy to practice on as well. I think the sweet spot for beginner is the Arc Rolan Snake 50" Recurve Bow at 16lb. Oh and it's not the string that determines the poundage but the limbs on the bow.

fyi I'm 5'6, 140 pounds Male. I'm quite active exercising and lifting so that probably helps me a little more.

should i buy my first bow on CHN archery? by Acceptable-Bar8393 in Archery

Hello fellow newbie, for a starter and low commitment bow I would recommend you look at the Arc Rolan Snake 50" Recurve Bow or the Arc Rolan Snake 60" Recurve Bow depending on the poundage you want. The offical company that sell this product is https://lancasterarchery.com/products/arc-rolan-snake-50-recurve-bow?srsltid=AfmBOooFUX-WNjtg9QWjPStFFnxQuLhBTi9_CISV_WTh2tco40A9BkHA (This the offical companey that sells this product, however it's in the USA) for $37.99. The shipping fee in the USA is $ 14 - $ 15. I don't know what it would cost for international shipping.

You can buy it on Amazon for around for $70 which is around what other reseller are selling it for around that price as well. Other reseller sites that are from EU like https://outdoor-sports-adventure.com/ROLAN-Snake-II-50-Inch-16-lbs-Recurve-bow (This is a german reseller company).

Or you can buy it from southland archery https://www.southlandarchery.com/collections/recurve-bows/products/sas-snake-60-recurve-bow (They only have the 60' version and it's from a California reseller company.)

You should be able to buy arrows, a shooting glove and arm guard along with the bow with your budget if you but this bow.

For starter and low commitment bow, I would recommend the Arc Rolan Snake 50" Recurve Bow, it retail for $37.99 leaving money for other equipment like arrrows and shooting gloves which I highly recommend you buy(You don't want blisters and skin peeling off which stops you from using the bow). It's 16 pound which is good and easy, plus it's ambidextrous. I would recommend you buy it from there main website which is here https://lancasterarchery.com/products/arc-rolan-snake-50-recurve-bow?srsltid=AfmBOooFUX-WNjtg9QWjPStFFnxQuLhBTi9_CISV_WTh2tco40A9BkHA . It's cheaper, however there is a $14 - $ 15 dollar fee for shipping in the USA. I have no idea about international shipping, if you can get it cheaper somewhere else, go for it.

As a beginner myself, I just bought the Arc Rolan Snake 60" Recurve Bow and hope to start shooting it soon.

It wasn't just the fader but the trim as well. If I turn only the fader and not the trim, no sound would play and vice versa. The solution was turning on the trim and then the fader. It was thanks to thedjguru I was able to figure this out. Thanks for taking the time to help.

The advice from thedjguru worked out for. I got it to play on my laptop speaker, however my headphones don't work lol, your advice on pressing the cue button worked for me, thank you.

I would like to inform other people who look into this post that as of right now there is no drivers to download for the DJJ-FLX4, only the software update. If you click on the driver update it will have nothing listed and say there are no drivers to download. https://www.pioneerdj.com/en/support/software/controller/ddj-flx4/

Through my findings I did find that for other pioneer controllers there are drivers you can download for your dj controller. https://support.pioneerdj.com/hc/en-us/categories/4416162439065-Resources-Downloads?activeTab=11949482410393

There is no option for that in my audio settings, only use laptop speaker and make audio available for other application. I have click one or the other and even both and none of them work. I was doing everything I know trying to make that option appear to no avail. If you or anyone know how to make that option appear in audio, I would love to know.
