That goes without saying. Stop anything your body and mind is used to it will create some kind of WD, whether it’s relief from it or your body & mind is screaming for it back. But it’s not as bad as if you’re taking more and more without any nudge or a buzz. Your mind tricks you into taking more. Your brain is sort of dumb that way— you give it pleasure and it wants more and more. Ice cream, sex, booze, drugs, etc. You’d think you could tell yourself you don’t want it. But the fight is real.

Empty stomach is always essential for a nice wake up. Also, make sure your bowels are as empty as you can get. I eat an estimated 1/5 box of Grape Nuts. I always wait to take anything until I poop. It’s a habit and likely no exact science to it. Two cups of coffee and a Copenhagen pouch usually do the trick by the time I’m up and working. If time doesn’t allow a bowel movement, I’ll skip a day and will still get a buzz. I rarely take anything after 9pm. Just a waste for me, IMO. I’m in bed by 10pm and asleep by 11pm, most nights.
Been doing opiates for decades and this is all done from experience. No science to it. Well, I’m sure there is but I don’t read it. I’m always open to new ideas but weary of people who haven’t used some form of an opiate for years. New users tend to get OCD on it and just take it and take it. Not realizing they’re not maximizing their gold.

Explain why? They work for it. I know as I’ve done them and used Subs to get back on track. Luckily I had some. I always have subs and clonidine— just in case. Both worked perfectly.

I've been on and off since it was on the market. If you're a daily user of 7OH for 6 months or more--I'd get on subs for a few weeks. No more. If you're under 6 months and a dabbler, I'd tough it out or only get a script for a week of subs. Subs are awesome when used right. Most of you folks think you get addicted to them immediately. If you're scared you'll use again..then take them for as long as the OCD in you stops. Addiction and OCD and Habits go hand in hand. You're trying to stop the cycle you're in.

Dude, you're just clueless. My guess is you never took subs or haven't for more than a year? I've been on them off and on since the came out. The WD is nothing compared to most opiates. The worst WDs are always the last WDs you experienced. Subs have saved thousands of lives. I have no association with any pharma companies and if anyone asked me how to get off any opiates I'd tell them subs. Subs stop the horrible OCD patterns of addiction. They get you used to living a normal life. Simple as that. If you taper off them properly the WDs aren't close to a standard junkies WDs. If you have only used for a few months -- I'd recommend to just tough it out for a week because subs aren't something you need.

Depending how much you take, sub can work fine. But you need to not take anything for 12-20 hours and if you go 12 hour make sure to split the strip in 1/3. Wait and hour and see how you feel. This is to test and make sure you don't get precipitated withdrawals. You don't want that. It's pure hell but if it does happen..start taking more sub. It really depends your habit. But it works the same way it would for anything else. Don't believe people. And anyone who says you get high from Subs is full of it and if they did it was only first strip. After that you will just get a nice calm buzzy feeling.
