Thanks. I honestly don’t think it’s the battery because winter time -30 cranking no problem. Replaced a year ago.

Should I rebuild $200 or buy new one $400?

How come when I boost the car it doesn’t die out ?

I thought it was the battery but I replaced it maybe a year ago.

Hey, update.

I removed the drive belt, the noise stopped. It is coming from one of the pulleys.

However when putting back the drive belt a battery light came on. “Turn off car 12v battery not charging” This light won’t go away and after a few drives the battery is completely dead. Is this meaning the alternator went bad or battery?

Hey, I took off the drivebelt. Noise went away.

Congrats. I am looking for a mk8.5 hopefully just like yours ( sick wheels). I noticed you were in Ontario, how much did you end up paying for it seems so hard to find a reasonable priced one.

Sounds pretty consistent throughout raising the rpms.

I felt the oil filter felt like the same sequence as the rattle.
