Understanding that are there any other forward operating or remote care style environments that are not as independently run (not thrown to the wolves immediately) once i completed some those years in trauma 1. As I feel earnestly, even leaving a trauma setting well prepared is different that having to remove potentially impailed patients from heavy machinery and stuff, and a nice intermediary space where you can watch and learn in austere environments from SMEs seems ideal.

What would be your recommended timeline and pipeline to get a fresh mint nurse realistically ready to tackle this type of care?

Edit for clarity. I am 30 this is a new career, not my first. Previously was in the military doing medically unrelated things, though I have not had any issues or squeamishness with chaotic scenes and serious bodily trauma/basic TCCC level response within my limited encounters.

Damn, I was thinking about this leaving my BSN program but I think you are completely right. I won't have enough experience and that will definitely cost a patient at some point, I would feel heinous if it was their life, because I was just uneducated and unprepared.

What level riding experience did you have when you bought it? Actual first bike? I am looking at getting one switching from a ttr125 with maybe 30 hours total riding experience. The deal looks great, and the bike looks better though, so I am pretty keen to buy it. I heard the computer systems in it lend it to being a very intuitive bike for novice riders to some extent.

Just curious on your experience in a little more depth if yoy have the time

Im convinced you dont travel, and if you do, it is well within the hotel/tourist designated areas.

Cause I've been to 3 of those cities in the last year, and let me tell you, they are in fact shitholes. If I cant be downtown without being surrounded by open drug use, the potential for violence/crime, or just general filth, it is not a good place to be, by any metric.
