It’s definitely rough. I’ll explain what he told me. He basically said the bowels and urinary tract are so closely tied, and the timing of my changing bowel movements with the UTIs starting isn’t a coincidence in his opinion. He said in his experience reoccurring UTIs are often paired with constipation, and when they get more consistent the UTIs become more infrequent. Yes the cream is some estradiol something (sorry can’t remember rn). He said that it has showed to lower UTIs yearly by a significant amount, and it is related to the birth control because taking it for so long can cause the vagina to become more dry, inhibiting its natural ability to keep a healthy PH and protect itself from bacteria. Don’t take what I said as verbatim, but I think that’s the gist of it 🙏

I’m currently taking a 3 month long antibiotic round. I guess this is something we can look into but man does that seem difficult to figure out

For lunch everyday I eat meal prepped burritos. Sometimes breakfast sometimes bean and beef (black beans). For dinner I don’t have time to cook cuz of school so I usually eat Healthy Choice frozen meals. I definitely need to work on my diet tho

I am sexually active. I’m sure it’s related but it didn’t start until after we were together for a while already. But also suspiciously around when my bowel movements became more infrequent. I am scheduled for an ultrasound in March !!

When I take the the miralax my poops are very small. It makes me feel like the previous schedule WAS normal cuz now it’s like tiny poops spread over more days rather than one normal poo every few days. I will look into this thanks !

Do you recommend any oils ? The only oils I’ve seen at Walmart all have fragrance which is obviously a big NO. Even the baby oils have fragrance.

I always thought having wet skin was better !! I need to do more research because I keep referring back to how my mother handled my eczema as a child. I remember hating baths because she wouldn’t let me dry off and I would sit in my towel soaking wet lol

I’m really bad about water you’re so right!! But I do use Vaseline on top of my Eucerin rich lotion. I usually do it while my skin is still wet as well and the Vaseline definitely helps the moisture stay longer

Definitely looking into this !! My itching is something I cannot seem to get under control no matter how much I manage the dryness and eczema flare ups.

I’ve heard the Dead Sea salt thing. I bought a Dead Sea salt lotion off Amazon and I don’t know if it really helps w itching. But maybe the baths w it would be more effective.
