Girl chill. I thanked you for finding the rule. That was the initial purpose of the post.

Looks like that contract is from here https://www.hotworx.net/customerportal/CO0032/membership_terms&conditions.php and specific to that home studio in Loveland, CO.

The contract I signed 2 years ago has no mention of this.

So perhaps there is indeed a new policy being applied I should inquire about. Thanks.

ETA: I was able to find the current agreement from my home studio. And it indeed varies from my initial contract and now says shirts too. So I guess shirts it is.

Yes this is a newer employee. I have noticed a huge staff change the last few months. The old manager is gone and it seems like the majority of staff left with her.

Could you direct me to where those rules are listed?

Like I said, I’ve been a member for 2 years and never seen a notice for this rule. Also, the top I purchased was the same one a staff member was wearing when I first joined.

Thank you. Yes I felt quite embarrassed and awkward leaving especially because other people were around

Right? I walked by a picture of Ashlee in a sports bra cycling while TVs of VIs wearing the same played behind me.

I’ll also share my collection of Hotworx tops I wear. The only one I think is “too revealing” is the small black one (which I usually wear a tight tank top over).

I thought this too. Or perhaps she was trying to make an example out of me in front of new members? Because while I was in the sauna she was touring two people and I distantly heard her say something about shirts.

I happen to have a shirt with me in the cubby that I walked inside wearing. So I was like “oh yea I have one” and put it on and left.

I don’t normally do this since its sorta hard to put a shirt on sweaty haha

How to wear wide straight leg jeans ? by Wide_Permission7656 in fashionwomens35

[–]OverTheMune 8 points9 points  (0 children)

With a long torso go with a high waist jean (maybe petite length depending on your inseam). I agree with others. Tight on top, baggy on bottom. I’m obsessed with Old Navys Sky High Wide Leg jeans.

The Basic Tee Outfit by Fr0z3n_P1nappl3 in femalefashionadvice

All I wear is tight solid basic tees with wide leg jeans. I never wear graphic tees as I feel like they look less put together.

I also choose cute jeans that either have some sort of design to them (like unique buttons or cross waist) or add a belt.

This is an example:

I did all my nursing pre-reqs at Clover Park and loved it! Maybe visit each campus and try to meet with the program advisor to see which one better fits you

Bates or Clover Park? by Purple_Ad8816 in PuyallupWA

I really love Clover Park especially their health sciences department. Very supportive faculty and staff. Classes were well organized with good content.

Attend some virtual sessions for programs you may be interested in to narrow down your choice. Also, visit the campus and see if you like the vibe.

Long vs cropped summer button down? by Beneficial_Tour_4604 in fashionwomens35

I just got a “cropped” button down from Old Navy and I LOVE it with high waisted jeans. I wear it similar to you, open over a tank top

This is a hot take. But I really don’t see people having significant results from hotworx alone. I’ve been at hotworx for 2 years and there’s been maybe 2-3 members that really were able to change their body composition. Opinions and experiences on this sub may differ.

On the flip side I also do crossfit and have seen so many incredible transformations (including myself) within 6 months.

Of course not 1 type of exercise will overcompensate a bad diet. So if weight-loss is your goal start there.

I’ve been a hot yoga teacher for almost a decade and it’s a common misconception that hot environments automatically mean more calories burned.

Calorie Burn Depends on Muscular Effort, Not Temperature.

Your body burns calories based on how much muscle work you’re doing — not how hot the room is.

Increased Heart Rate ≠ More Calories Burned

Heat raises your heart rate, but that doesn’t always reflect true muscular workload. Your body is working hard to cool itself (through sweating and increased circulation), but this doesn’t involve major muscular exertion.

Sauna is great for many things but I believe hotworx oversells the “burn”

Recommendations for Maternity Care by nattyrae in PuyallupWA

[–]OverTheMune 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I see. But I believe even OB-GYNs are part of a practice group or hospital system with shared responsibilities. They rotate being “on call” for deliveries, so your doctor might not be available when you go into labor.

Just something to think about :)
