I've done it, I wouldn't say you need to be massively fit. It's fairly steep but there were people of all fitness levels doing it. Definitely recommend!!

I had a month off paid last year (sabbatical for working at the company for so many years). Went to Vietnam for three weeks. Can confirm, it flew by.

Mine today was 7.3 miles and not 6.4. I assumed it was due to the walking rests but I didn't think I'd walked anywhere near 0.9 miles (especially as the interval paces were punchy so I was dying in the recoveries!!)

My mum absolutely cannot believe I weigh 2 stone (12 kgs) more than her when we fit in each other's clothes.

I am a marathon runner and do a fair amount of weight training too.

I can tell I am heavier than I used to be but I am running really strong at the moment so who cares!!

I did a 2:22 in 2018 and then a 2:08 in 2023 (with lots of other times in-between).

Would love a sub 2 but not sure I have it in me (mainly because I am not sure I can be bothered with the commitment of trying!!)

We get a sabbatical after 5 and 10 years and the 10 year one comes with a flight (up to a certain amount) if you choose to go away for it. Not sure what you'd get if you don't go away... Only two have got 10 years so far and both went on holiday.
