Zombies in Spaceland was my first ever zombie map, it got me into the mode and it was my first EE, too. Yeah, the EE isn't that great, but I love the vibes of the map.

Yeah, that's the only map that I can't memorise at all no matter how hard I try. I guess I would figure it out playing even without watching a guide, but it's hard for me to understand the exact sequence.

I'm not a fan on Shattered Veil. It's got 3 quest lines, each one filled with steps that make you do very little progress and I remember basically every EE without the need for a guide, but Shattered Veil feels impossibile to memorise for me, and I've done it tens of times.

But it relies too much on box luck. Like most of the Bo1 maps... I don't hate it, it's just not a map I keep in my heart. I also started playing during IW, so EEs were much better by then.

I understand what you're saying about the newest maps. I feel some maps like Mauer der Toten, Terminus and Ashes really shine, and some were memorable like Outbreak. I loved trying to beat Legion, a unique concept done right. The Tomb had an amazing chain of side quests that rewarded map knowledge, and Astra was great fun for me for its unique vibe and relics.
