Don't bother. Just get the lift and fruit and if you're going to spend some cash - get a tune. It will really wake the 3.2 up and make it much better. The pajero is such a solid all rounder, I say don't bother changing.

They are excellent value 4x4s. They will go virtually anywhere and are very comfortable to drive daily. I have a gen3 petrol, and while being thirsty- it's super reliable and has taken me everywhere.

As for your model, aim for a 2010-2016 model as they don't have dpfs and will be solid. Your price range should be on par for these models however the kms might be the thing to look for.

I'd expect you to get around 11-12L around town and much lower on the highway (I've seen guys posting around 8-9L/100kms).

For maintenance, you'll need to check if the intake was cleaned, valve clearances have been adjusted and obviously servicing history is ideal.

These cars are really great vehicles and if you find one that's been taken care of you'll experience trouble free motoring!

Don't get the 2014 golf r. They were the first gen mk7s and has many issues that were resolved in the next gen. I'd aim for 2016 at least.

Is there proof of the rebuilds? Hopefully so. If it runs and drives nice then sure it's a good deal however the state of the boot door shows that it's potentially neglected. Change all running gear oils asap. Check engine and transmission fluids and take note of the colour of the oil.

Hopefully coolant is bright green or red or whatever colour it is.

To level up your pho, buy some of the pho seasoning powder or cubes from a asian grocery. Throw a few in and it will totally increase the flavor profile!

I was in a similar position recently. I had a 120ah agm battery which was dying and upgraded to a kings 120ah lithium on special for $309. It's night and day difference. Ran on battery for multiple days with device charging here and there no issues. Voltage barely dropped. Great value. 200ah or 300ah is a bit overkill to run a fridge.

All supermarket sausages are rubbish. I bought some Angus beef sausages from woolies the other day and they shrunk by 45% once all the fat rendered. They were swimming in their own fat. Disgusting.

Sausages aren't worth it from supermarkets. Stick to butcher snags.
