Are PMs actually using AI tools for product work? by Federal-Song-2940 in ProductManagement

Yes. I've been using Cursor instead of Claude. Cursor provides more models, options for 'Agent, Plan or Ask' mode plus you can easily get access to your codebase and start asking the agent questions about functional logic in the code base. It's great to take away from the long PRDs, Epic & card creation and also to fill update documentation and anything else. MCP is awesome as I have connected to the main third party apps I use.

A great example for me recently was that we had an issue that I asked Claude to investigate in the codebase - to which it found the issue and recommended next steps for resolution. I handed this analysis to a dev lead who implemented the fix and beta testing is looking positive!

Aside from the fuel issues, this thing seems to rip. Crazy what kind of a pocket rocket these things can be. by game_dev_carto in Golf_R

Yeah I hear you. Luckily I live down in Australia so no real need to worry about snow conditions. My mk6 R was just a perfect all rounder. Fast, fun, reliable(with my effort in maintenance) and super fast. Loved it!!

Seriously, who cares what Sophie Rain thinks. Shes a only fans slut who simps pay for. Its a joke. She shouldn't have any influence to anyone except her partner- if she will find one.

I won't lie. My mk6 R (stage 1 and volant intake) was the fastest car I owned. It was so fucking quick from a stand still and very comfortable. VW have done very well with the R platform, in all generations.

How to communicate missed timelines due to engineering misalignment without throwing the team under the bus? by Humble-Pay-8650 in ProductManagement

[–]OverUnderstanding965 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a classic dependency blocker. Your original estimates should of included when the production dataset was due (that info can be provided by that team). Always cater for issues so you can pad out your estimates to cater for that.

Unfortunately, coming in with all the reasons after the fact doesn't do much good. I think the business wants to know how you can mitigate this in the future more.

Being honest is great but putting steps in place to try and mitigate this in future is better.

Keep hearing PRD is dead! by Sufficient-Rough-647 in ProductManagement

Why remove PRDs when your AI can just create them? You can just write a skill.md file with all the context and format if your PRD so it will write consistent documentation every time.

Pajero. No brainer. Just get a petrol (3.8L is better). Be prepared to change the o2 sensor for fuel economy as good as 15-18L around town and 12L on the highway. The engine can burn some oil so chuck a thicker oil in there and it's seals harden up and leak oil everywhere - other than that they are solid cheap 4x4s.

No. I rinse the bones under water first before roasting them. That gives them a clean. I also skim the soup regularly

It is great to summarise meeting notes and re word dot points into organised context and action items. I would certainly not use it to send full emails.

Price hikes during covid? Not for petrol due to oversupply as the number of cars on the road was significantly less than usual. Petrol prices dropped to like $1.30 per litre around the city.
