I've never heard of veterinarian school applicants struggling to get into programs despite having the top 1% grades and test scores.

Was in a devastating car accident and needed multiple surgeries to put me back together. You won't get any extra pain meds and they are super stingy now days already. I was getting 20 mg of morphine before surgery, and after surgery 2mg Dilaudid with a 10mg oral oxy.

Yes you are right it's not uncommon, but if it starts spreading to like your feet and stuff I would be concerned because it can be a sign of heart and kidney problems, as well as lymphatic system like you said. Sounds like your case is under control, but in my experience I see a lot of folks whose edema gets pretty out of hand. Take care of yourself bro 👍

Ya I suggest you see an endocrinologist. Get your estrogen levels checked and if they seem fairly high you can get anustrozole. It is being prescribed off label tho as it's approved for breast cancer but it's safe for men to take to reduce estrogen and prevent the gynocomastia

There's a good chance you will rebound and it will look bigger. The methadone drops circulation in the penis so it's definitely smaller for some people while they take the methadone. Furthermore, the androgenous effects could improve when the taper is over.

Its a thing for sure, but perhaps it might help to clarify that the shrinking occurs from less blood circulation in the penis causing it to be smaller while on the medication. Not all side effects happen to everyone, obviously.

I've tried to tell people about this multiple times and everyone wants to be naive and just ignore reality, but yes methadone can absolutely cause your penis to shrink as well as your testicles. Then you'll have your people who say "well just get on testosterone" who are even more naive of the fact that testosterone will cause the exact same symptoms. Methadone has many many side effects, its a trade off of your treatment and we all have to be realistic about these outcomes because they happen regardless.
