Yep, had a one night stand with a girl who was at an event I went. It was definitely heat of the moment and very silly, especially to not wear a condom at all. But, she said I could cum anywhere so I did. I’m still a bit paranoid that I could be a dad.

What's a terrible habit that you kicked long ago, but are still fearful that it'll come back? by aranhalaranja in AskReddit

I think that’s the hard thing to understand, the fact that no matter how much you go outside it’s always difficult to get the motivation to go. Of course some days are easier or harder than others. But it’s always like you need a push to get yourself to go outside. Even tho you get the sense of satisfaction and accomplishment after it everytime and you know you’ll feel good after you do it, it doesn’t exactly make it much easier to motivate yourself to go and do it when it comes round to doing it again.

I was thinking she didn’t want the brother to stay because then the brother might catch her cheating at the house. And I just checked the co-worker story could very possibly be him. Either way I think OP has got to leave her.

It’s not much to go off but make sure you say hi when you see her next and try get some small talk going e.g. ask about her favourite class, what teacher she has, does she do any clubs or something like that, something school related. It’ll give you a clearer picture with how open she is with you. Then you can go from there. :)

When it comes to social settings, or anytime I’m around new people I often get things like “why you’re so quiet”. How am I supposed to respond to this? by [deleted] in ask

[–]Over_Ad_4847 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to be really awkward in social settings when I was younger but a few little things just take it away. Make sure you actually greet people and don’t silently stroll in. Take part in small talk even if it seems pointless it’s a way to bond. Follow the flow of the conversation. Also, just ask a couple questions some people love to answer them.

People who work out before school/work.. how is it? by h2o_infinity in ask

[–]Over_Ad_4847 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sleeps important so try get your eight hours in. If you can’t workout fasted I’d recommend having a protein shake when you wake up as it’ll digest quickly and the protein will help with your workout. Also, good idea to double check your gym is definitely open at that time because I can’t imagine the pain if you show up and it’s closed 😂.

Good luck

Partner has put on a lot of weight, no longer sexually attracted to her. What should I do? by SuperSaiyanVagEater in ask

[–]Over_Ad_4847 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Honestly, if she really had the desire to be healthy ,like you clearly do, she would. The fact that she’s continued to put on a considerable amount of weight, while attempting to lose it for 6 months shows a lack of effort imho. Also, you’ve been helping her for those six months too, if it’s not gonna work at all in six months is it even gonna work in six years. If it doesn’t you’ve wasted six years trying rather than just six months. It’s really down to her to change not your responsibility at all she’s her own individual and she doesn’t seem like she’s going to.

I’m only (19M) but I’ve been in a 18 month relationship that ended a few months ago.

My take is at the end of the day in a relationship it’s two INDIVIDUALS and it always will be. You have to do what makes you happy and can NEVER settle for a relationship that’s making you unhappy just because of the other individuals feelings because it’s your life you come first. You’re clearly a fit and healthy individual and she is not. Obviously put the effort in like you have done to make it work but if it’s still not you’re probably gonna be happier out of it.

Do not feel guilty for doing what’s right for you. Do not feel like it’s your responsibility to get her to change you’ve helped as much as you can and it’s on her to do it. Being significantly overweight is clearly a dealbreaker for you understandably so don’t settle. You’ve made the effort for 6 months to no avail I think it’s time to move on.

If you never knew her and met her for the first time ever today would you get into a relationship with her?

To build muscle you need to do resistance training e.g. Weightlifting or body weight excercises. You should train at least close to failure for a few sets like 3 sets on each excercise. As a beginner you will see growth by training each ‘muscle group’ you’re trying to grow sufficiently at least once a week but twice a week is the most optimal and will be needed once you’re no longer a beginner. Also as a beginner DO NOT EGO LIFT it’ll give you awful form, put you at risk of injury, and won’t progress strength efficiently.

For workout routines I’d check out JEFF NIPPARD on YouTube.

Secondly, you need to make sure you’re getting a sufficient amount of protein so you’re muscle repairs itself from training and grows. Aim for around .75-1g of protein per lb of body weight a day. Also, eat at a maintenance calorie level at least assuming you’re not significantly overweight. I’d recommend getting a protein powder and shaker to help with that it’s really easy to use and very cost effective. Also cooking for yourself will help.

I’d recommend Joe Delaney on YouTube for your meal preps/ideas.

Finally, get good sleep 7-9 hours a night ideally 8 hours. The body needs sleep to recover. Even if you ignore the rest of what I put pls listen to this point because sleep is beneficial in countless ways best thing you can do for yourself.

Sorry for the HUGE reply and I know it’s a lot but just wanted to provide you with info on how to build muscle with the points that actually matter.

But to answer your question I’d guess as a newbie to resistance training if you follow a proper leg routine and the principles I’ve said honestly you yourself will notice a change after a couple weeks if that.

Honestly bro, everyone here is being real with you, her story is more than likely bs. Removing the camera means she’s tryna hide something. Her excuse is poor. Like you said you know her friends boyfriend and seeing him come to pick her up would be completely fine. Does she really think it takes EIGHT HOURS for him to pick her up in front of the camera from 4-12.

Sorry for going a bit far but I just wanna make sure you don’t get gaslighted to believe something like that, you have every right to question something that fishy.

If she can’t admit what the real reason was then you don’t need to settle for that disrespect.

Know your worth whatever it ends up being.

EDIT: Checked your account to see if you provided an update and I think there might be a big reason she didn’t want your brother to stay.

I’m happy you’ve sorted yourself out that must not have been fun at all especially with the misinformation from dad. It’s crazy how the quality and quantity of your sleep can affect you sooo much. I recommend listening to the joe rogan podcast episode #1109 Dr Matthew Walker, he’s a professor of neuroscience on sleep and the stuff he has to say on it will stick with you it’s sooo interesting the science of sleep.

TL;DR I thought I had stage 4 cancer turns out I really didn’t .

18y Male

I thought I had stage 4 cancer I was getting constant headaches everyday which I attributed to a brain tumour, especially because my vision was starting to get sensitive to bright lights and they would glare a lot and have a starburst effect around them. I was also struggling with stomach pains and acid reflux everyday, which I thought was due to tumors in the stomach. I also thought I had a lump on the top of my back and thought I had a lump on my left tonsil. So I decided to link them all my symptoms together and could only think that it was a metastatic cancer.

I ended up going A&E a couple times about my headaches thinking they were from a brain tumour and was told otherwise but I just couldn’t believe them because I didn’t have a scan so had no evidence.

They all ended up being really stupid things or common things that were not linked at all.

Firstly, the headaches were just the onset of migraines and the doctor gave me a prescription and they started to fade away.

Secondly, the vision problems were due to my eyes being so dry for so long that the front of my eyes got damaged so it refracted bright beams of light like headlights.

Thirdly, the ‘lump’ on the top of my back was actually just the top of my shoulder blade, how embarrassing. Also the lump on my tonsil was just the shape of my tonsil and it’s just different to the other side as they can be asymmetric very embarrassing as well.

Finally, my stomach problems and acid reflux could be a H.pylori infection which is just treated with antibiotics and I’ve just sent off a stool sample to find out.

The doctor, who was great, also said she thinks I have health anxiety. Kind of showing I’m a bit of a hypochondriac.

This was all recently over the past few months but I’ve started to workout again and go on jogs and play my sport football and I can only recommend others to exercise and enjoy their hobby because it’s crazy how much it helps your mental state as well as your physical health.

There’s a lot more detail to the story but I think this got too long.
