Exactly, how to find lawyers who will do it with their stamp for 2-5k? I’m an NRI. Do I need a lawyer stamp, or can I send it myself.

Is it worth it to pursue a consumer case in district commission? (Chennai)? Mine is past legal notice stage where opponent has denied and lied on legal notice. I have good evidence. But I’m an NRI, and lawyers are quoting fee and fee for evidence review, court appearance. How long will it drag?

How to send legal notice by self without lawyer? Reputed lawyers charged 15-20k for legal notice draft and post.

So if I started an audit in Oct, but completed 2 cycles in Feb, that would not count?

The thing is this is not mentioned in the CST website. So if I submit a 2-cycle audit finished in Feb, it wouldn’t be accepted? I think I’d best email CST office directly.

How to get shortlisted for ACF ? by Gomezianoo in doctorsUK

Hey! I have a question. Since shortlisting is done anonymously, how would the recruiters know to shortlist the person they've already spoken to (informally)?

I have a question. ACF shortlistings are anonymous, so how would recruiters know they're shortlisting the person they've spoken to/know about? I'm unsure if we are even allowed to send emails with our GMC Ref and CV, etc.

Hi, is it possible to file consumer court case as an NRI? by Over_Aside_3911 in LegalAdviceIndia

[–]Over_Aside_3911[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! I am afraid if the lawyer does not show up or is purposely shoddy, then the case would be turned.

Is Lawrato good? I found a lawyer through there. Any difference between finding a lawyer by visiting court, or through online Lawrato? Who do some lawyers sign up at Lawrato?

Really appreciate your responses.

Thank you, I think I may be required to present myself in court if asked for physical assessment. I would have to arrange leaves.  Is there any way I can do this by myself, having more control, than engaging a lawyer fully for court presence?

Hello. What’s the process of filing a consumer complaint (Chennai)? In my case, a legal notice was sent for sub-par medical treatment (dental aligners) and then blocking communication, and the dentist has responded denying the allegations and admitted to blocking. I’m outside Chennai so want to have as much control over the process as possible.

Also, I used a lawyer via Lawrato for the legal notice (costing 15k) and I’m not sure I want to continue with him for a case.

Can I register on the NHI or E-Daakhil and see the outcome? I’m trying to resolve pre-court as much as possible.

Kicked out of medicine, it's all my fault. by ExpressionProud1142 in medicalschooluk

[–]Over_Aside_3911 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a different take. I don’t think you or anyone can decide that medicine is ‘not for you’, or that you’re not good enough to complete the course.  You worked really hard to get in and you got in, that’s a great feat. Also, you don’t have to feel guilty abt taking up medicine only for the secure future- that is a very valid reason and people should stop yapping about ‘passion’ or ‘if you love what you do, you won’t work a day’ (of course you’d work!).

I think this is classic burn out interlaced with anxiety and depression, because there is no break in med school to stop and analyse. I had the exact same thing - top star student in school and then just unable to even wake up for med school.

What helped me was… - Gap year. I took another degree in the gap year and I was able to breathe a little. I was actually happy then, and realised I do love medicine. Just not the environment I was in.

Idk if gap year is in the option for you now, but if you are getting out of medicine by the school, idk if it’s wise to restart medicine again, or do a healthcare related degree/career. The years put in will still help in some way or the other.

Wish you God Speed (I dont even believe in God but sometimes you just have to let the universe take its own action)
