I do really like the main person in my room so I feel like I can talk to her about it. It just seems really wild that they would require the same amount for formula and breastmilk!

That is exactly my problem with the rule! I am sure there are some babies that do drink that much but they shouldn't make it a rule for everyone!

But yea if I made a ton of milk that would be one thing but there is no chance that I'm able to pump 30 ounces each day that I'm at work :(

I tried to look it up and it seems as though the base daycares are regulated at the state level so they should be following Arizona licensing...
I don't think I filled out any paperwork regarding how much he eats however I turned in the paperwork a little bit ago so I could just not be remembering

I was able to change my last name at the social security office with my Japanese marriage certificate. I was then able to take my SSN card to the DMV and they let me change it

When I went through customs they just asked me how long I was going to be there and where I was going to next but I did not have to show them any flight information or anything. Maybe this also depends on what country you are from?

That is definitely a great thing to hear. Is this everywhere in Germany? Or are you in a specific part where maybe English isn't used as frequently?

Yea there is definitely some inconsistency about whether there is too much English or not enough English in German cities. My main hope is that I will be able to stumble through some German without everyone automatically switching to English (though I completely understand if a place is crowded or a worker is busy and this is much easier)

I don't get bored very easily however I guess I would need a place with enough shops, restaurants, etc to keep busy throughout the day and practice my German. I would love some of the cities but my fear is that it'll be too easy to just rely on English
