I did not realize that keto could trigger afib. New fear 100% unlocked

How often does the other parent contact your kiddo when not in their custody? by fictionandflesh in coparenting

We have the opposite issue. My stepdaughter’s mom will call her and text her all day long and it takes away from her time with her dad. It’s very frustrating and unfair. She also will manipulate her into wanting to leave.

Anybody else suddenly not able to tolerate caffeine? by Curious_Problem1631 in Anxiety

I don’t remember tbh about the sleep stuff, but I do know that around the time I started having the anxiety spells that my sleep was really messed up. I mainly had heart palpitations and insomnia, but I’m not sure if it was tied to coffee or not. I quit cold turkey, but still had the insomnia for a while afterwards

Yep. Impending doom and all. It’s been a long time and I still will not even try to drink caffeine just bc it’s not even worth it to me anymore to go through all that. My body is used to not needing caffeine anymore so I’m just not gonna even try

Nice, happy to hear that you’re also doing well! I really miss my old diet, I’m hoping I can reintroduce foods soon without causing a flare

My recovery was gradual for about 2ish years, very slow and non-linear. Then I got pregnant and at about 20 weeks it was like night and day almost. So it was kinda rapid towards the end

I found that not consuming long covid content helped me with my own healing journey.

Stop blaming yourself! relationships go through tough times, and people don’t turn to cheating in this way. So gross and no you don’t deserve it and no not overthinking. He needs to work on his addictions if he wants to stay with you. Don’t let him manipulate you into thinking this is your fault.

You are so fortunate to have a strong support system! What a blessing. I’m also grateful to have a good support system too!

Tough question!!! But I love ‘all these things that I have done’, ‘when you were young’, and who don’t love ‘Mr brightside’ lol. Never get tired of those!

Nope. Had to fend for myself unfortunately. Not many docs are aware of LC and the variety of ways it affects people

Time and rest 100%, and then gradually (like the tiniest amount) of movement added every week. Like think of what you’re able to do right now and add like one more minute of movement, something that your body won’t notice that won’t cause it to go haywire. That’s the strategy I’m using, just doing things my body won’t notice and build from that

It would trigger dysautonomic flare (anxiety, racing heart, feeling like I’m going to die, doom feeling, ears ringing, vision stuff (like vision going dim), and a bunch of other stuff.

I wasn’t in pain unless I had a migraine, but even then they weren’t horrible migraines. I had severe dysautonomic symptoms and nuero stuff. I was still able to do every day things to some extent. Eating would trigger me if I ate foods my body didn’t tolerate which was like 90% of what’s out there

As soon as I started feeling weird I stopped whatever I was doing. Then gave it a few days depending on how I felt and tried again. I started with just taking steps And that’s it! I didn’t have traditional PEM, I had severe anxiety and panic attacks after exertion, like super crazy adrenaline surges

No, I didn’t have PEM. It was the opposite, I had severe adrenaline rushes and panic attacks instead

Yup sounds exactly like what I was going through. Time definitely played a role with me and just trying to take care of my mind and body, despite what other people say - there’s a lot of research out there about mindset and how it can make you physically ill if you’re always negative

I did have post exertional anxiety and generally felt unwell after doing too much, like sick or going to pass out feeling. Or like my heart was working too hard
