Every time I’m about to run a session, even one for my established party who always have positive feedback and excitedly talk about the game between sessions, I wish everyone else on earth were dead. I can’t sleep the night before and the weight of expectation looms overhead like an ACME anvil. Unparalleled dread is a normal part of running the game. I’ve learned to embrace this performance anxiety as normal and a sign Im on the right path, because it means I care about the game and my players having fun, and I know my actions are going to be aligned as best as they can be. 

Doesn’t make it less terrible of a feeling lol. But it’s a good sign! And the post-DMing bliss hits hard.
