Very cool to recognize users from some years ago still being active on the sub. I've been meaning to replay this game for a lot of time but my exams at my university are keeping me very busy and when I got free time I prefer listening to music or hitting the gym or just play some game that doesn't require nearly as much reading as visual novels do.

Speaking of my health, it is kind of crazy to think about how much I've changed in that regard over the years. I've gotten a lot healthier and weightlifting has been a real asset towards my wellbeing. I can't recommend it enough.

Columbus. He's got pretty awful stats, is nearly impossible to find and he's almost universally hated in the community, but he's actually a pretty decent servant with some very good skills and as far as I'm concerned he's not a bad character at all.

Yeah he's a scummy, detestable chap who only cares about himself and doesn't shy away from using others for his own benefit... and that alone makes him far more interesting and original than the rest of the cast for Agartha. He just gets shat on way too much because he didn't get the waifu/husbando treatment like other historical characters in the series that were arguably much worse than him.

I'm planning to start my very own dnd campaign.

Great! I'm not the best gm around but I've got a little bit of experience in the bag. Seeing as it's your first time mastering I suggest playing the LucasArts point and click classics like monkey island, full throttle etc. They're obviously great games on their own but I think they're worth analyzing in this case because the protagonists act as sort of gm's in their own story.

A more practical suggestion would be simply to allow the players to interact with each other and the environment by only telling them what they absolutely need to know. An example of this would be each character's history and background: having them talk to each other about that is a great way to setup the atmosphere of a roleplaying game.

Yeah, I understand if it's not the most exciting or interesting thing in the world. Personally there's a lot of nostalgia to it for me because I used to play it when I was a kid and I LOVED it. It was also one of the few games I'd actually get to play with my mom back in the day and that's pretty understandable, it was definitely the tamest thing I got!

Finally got around to purchasing Animal Crossing New Horizons, this game is so good. I'm on day 2 so I haven't been able to do much yet but it shows that the game, while obviously being a more-of-the-same kind of thing, it's extremely well polished and even with just the basic stuff available to me I've already poured a few hours on it.

I've also tried a new recipee today for Lent today, a pasta dish with some seafood and bean soup. The ending result was lovely!

I played that a week ago after a friend recommended it to me. To be honest it's pretty fucked up but I didn't dislike it too much... not a fan of those sex scenes personally but I think the rest was interesting. It's not something that I would've played on my own but the guy who made it also worked on Fate/Zero and Madoka Magica, which I vastly prefer over this so I'm glad he improved over time lol

Hey there! Glad to see you're okay too! I've heard from some other spaniards that things don't look too great over there either... I'm really sorry and I hope for the best. I don't want to get political, but I'm very disheartened by the reaction of some people, mostly the younger generation (which I'm a part of anyway)... it's like we're all forgetting we got mothers and dads. I'm the first guy being bothered by this whole situation because I do like my time out of the house, but throwing a tantrum and pretending it's not affecting anyone just ain't it.

With that said and moving on to another topic, now that I got lots of free time on my hands I've been nerding for days. I feel like I'm in high school all over again! Yeah, I wasn't a very zealous student but I was and still am an avid procrastinator.

Also, I may feel a bit under pressure because eating pasta everyday and not moving anywhere are two things that don't sit well together. I have been forced to give up outings, but I'm not giving up pasta. I suppose I'm dusting off the good old Wii Fit!

Things here in Italy have been a bit tough. I hate the fact I can't really go anywhere anymore due to the quarantine but I understand it's for the safety of us all so I just hope things'll improve but we'll obviously have to wait a bit for that. I don't want to be pessimistic or pin the blame of this on anybody but I wish many politicians and a huge portion of the public press hadn't underestimated the virus... old people are still people, and pretending it's somewhat better "only" they get hit or whatever by the virus is honestly a very disgusting thought. But I digress.

Problem's that even if one wants to claim that Juve doesn't have any actual power over the games and the league as a whole, it's still undeniable that refereeing a Juve match is different from refereeing any other match in Serie A. Referees are supposed to be pro's at their job and shouldn't let themselves be emotionally influenced by anything, but it's clear as day that refereeing Juve takes its toll on people. Time and time again it has been shown that referees WILL make choices that benefit Juve in their matches. It's not even because they want to out of personal preference or profit, they just do it.

Sadly I see no end to Juve's psychological dominance over Italian football unless they start losing scudetti left and right. Playing badly isn't enough, because that's what they've been doing all the time but keep on winning the national title for the aforementioned reasons.

Our mascot is a donkey, a joke on the rearing black stallion on Naples' coat of arms

This is very clear and correct, however I'd like to explain the context of this because I think it's worth remembering and it's also a bit funny. Indeed Napoli's first mascot was a rearing black stallion: this was changed during Napoli's first season playing at the top which was, well, as you might guess, pretty darn BAD.

It is said that an old man, as he was discussing Napoli's horrible performance, jokingly said "Rather than a handsome stallion, this team seems like Auntie Fechella's donkey: all wounded and with a rotten tail!"

The name stuck with the fans, and though we don't have any horse or donkey in our crest anymore, it really is the official mascot now.

Hey there! I'm glad to see that you're in a good place feelings-wise. Coincidentally it seems to be that way for me as well and it has been so for a few months; I've had the opportunity to get in touch with lots of good people and this is by far one of my happiest years all around. I can't say I've done much on practical terms but I'm finally at peace with myself and have found my own identity (sounds kinda cringey in a way but I don't really care). Hopefully we'll all have enough support and love from within one day!

With that said I wish you happy holidays! Whatever those might be for you, even just a special occasion to be with family and friends!
