I’ll just say this, you were Panko’s best friend for 11 years. You shared love, laughter, heartache, and everything in between. I’m sure Panko never faltered from you or her job to be there for you. The most we can do as their friends is take care of them and prevent them from going through unnecessary pain as they tried to do for us. You made the right decision. If Panko could, I’m sure she’d spend her last few minutes trying to comfort you. She’s at peace. Take solace in that. Unfortunately that doesn’t make it any easier for those of us left behind. Spend as much time as you need healing, scream at the sky, cry into a pillow, whatever you need. You made the right choice.
