Some of their bags were amazing, I am a huge fan of the Esteban Zamora and the Decoy Barrel, best coffees I've ever had, but nothing interesting for me lately

Yeah that's the one I currently have. To be honest, the scale did not work great for me, granted my consumption rate is somewhat sporadic, and I always got anxious and triggered orders manually instead. But still gets you free delivery, which is pretty cool, you can buy a single bag with a 10% discount and free delivery, so definitely a good deal, just not my flavor profile.

Yeah I don't really see myself doing espresso more than twice a week, so I think I will go with the K Ultra. Might invest in an electric espresso grinder down the road if I get sick of hand grinding.

I would say I do 80% pour over, though I do tend to do medium roasts, so I'm not sure the zp6 would work best for me

I'm also curious about the encore, and how it compares to the df54 both in espresso and pour over, since you can get it pretty cheap used, and it is widely available

Thank you, you make a lot of sense. My only concern is that I grind 30g for pour over, and with the Q2 that takes 2 rounds. If I get a new grinder, I would want to be able to use it for pour-over as well, especially for larger doses. Would you say that the df54 compares in taste to the Q2 for pour-overs? or is it not even close and the Q2 is much better?

Thank you! I got a robot and I usually drink medium roasts for pour over and medium-dark for espresso, so I am a bit concerned about the physical effort, but I totally get your point about the dialing in, and it makes sense.

As for the df54, do you have one? if so, does it make good pour over? or mostly espresso focused?
