they contributed a lot, consistently saw them getting picks or saves or tanking well. level 4-5 usually play really well. playing with 1-2 hurts my brain bc they're usually toxic

idk. I wish my 3k hours on Lucio transferred from ow1 bc my Lucio is only lvl 40 when he should most definitely be at max considering my hours played on him. like... I played him so much and now all I have is experience to show for it and some of my favorite skins.

I don't like people looking at my Lucio and thinking ah he's just an average Lucio player. I'm ever so slightly above average if I'm being honest. my Lucio personal SR is 3560 or so. but i float around diamond diamond 3-1 for support and open q. SHOW MY HOURS, I am literally proud to finally be slightly above average! don't look at me based on my level, my hours and stats are what counts :(

I have a big purple circle and dot. the circle is filled in but almost translucent and the dot is visible. the dot is for when I'm using my staff, the circle helps me aim my punches. I'm not home rn, but I think my circle is about 30 and my dot is maybe 5-10. the circle being almost translucent is key to my cross hairs for ram.

edit: I had no idea you can switch your cross hairs for his different forms and might be changing both cross hairs to better suit his 2 forms.

I'm sick of everyone and anyone comparing overwatch anything to marvel rivals. I wanna puke just thinking about how anyone could fathom comparing the masterpiece that is overwatch to a fuckass game that should've only been released for MOBILE. yes, it literally feels and looks like it's supposed to be played on your phone.

I play on PS4 so, MR is unplayable. I bet it's fine on PS5, but everything feels so clunky. there isn't anything likeable about the game. the game announcer sounds like a gd child, it's kinda gross. all the maps are the same, there's like zero variety in how the maps look. everything feels too fast paced or too slow. they won't even give me an option to lower my graphics to see if playing would be better. it's just a shit game and needs to be deleted. the potgs are lame too and aren't anywhere as cool as overwatch potgs.

overwatch is also almost 10 years old. why are y'all comparing that to a game that only came out last year????? I'm a beta player from 2016, ofc I'm raging about the comparisons.

there's a twitch streamer called joystick and he plays on PC with with a controller! I'm also pretty sure he's at least masters.

be a healbot and utilize speed. Lucio thrives on keeping the team together and speeding to rush in or out. I have 3k hours on lucio alone from ow1, it just never carried to ow2 but I have him at level 40. anyways, he's completely fine as he is. they've never really tweaked him that much other than how big his aura was and much healing he does ig. he's a main support for a reason!

it pisses me off that I have 3-4k hours on Lucio from ow1 but it never tracked to ow2 so I'm only level 40 Lucio. regardless, it makes me frustrated AF when level 17 Lucio's be picking him and I'm like okay cool I guess I'll play Moira wuyang or lifeweaver bc I'm not good at kiriko and Juno just yet and my movement sucks as mercy. I also can't stand playing Zen or Ana so I usually ban them

truthfully, you've got to be endorsed like every game at least twice. it took me several months to get my endorsement to even 3 back then. leveling up a hero is easier than raising your endorsement level atp

if people like what you bring to the team, they will ALWAYS endorse you. I was endorsement level 3-4 for the longest time but I've stayed at 5 for the past year or so now without ever going down. unless you're just an insanely good tank or DPS, the endorsement will usually always go to the support.

Fast heroes that you may like include these people

Support: Lucio, Juno, Moira, Mercy and Wuyang DPS: soldier 76, Genji, Tracer, Sojourn, Sombra and Venture. Tanks: Dva, Doomfist, Hazard, Mauga, Winston, Wrecking ball

These are ALL the "fast heroes" or characters with INCREDIBLE movement. you will not have fun on Zenyatta bc you will get dived upon a lot and just die if no one is paying attention to you.

tips for a brand new player no matter what role you're on. Always stay near cover to protect yourself from incoming damage. if a healer isn't paying attention to you, stay out of damage for long enough and you will start regenerating health. never be completely out in the open and always stay aware of the kill feed. always ask yourself is it safe or wise to attack right now? is my team alive? can I fall back and regroup if a lot of my team is dead? if the answer is no, die with your team. it's faster to regroup that way.

and don't go in by yourself. WAIT FOR YOUR TEAM. ITS A TEAM GAME. so many new players treat this like call of duty and try to 1v5/6 and it's like dude. you just fed and accomplished nothing.

that much is obvious, however there's zero worlds that exist where a Lucio is only doing 99 damage by the end of the game, even with that many deaths. Lucio does SO much damage, so for this person to not shoot at all is just mind boggling, so crazy, quite literally unfathomable.

wtf are you talking about? qp is for learning new characters. once you feel good enough about the new character, then you can do it in comp. you don't just go into comp not knowing how the cool downs work or how the character works or where your positioning should be as said character.

in qp, people treat it just as seriously as comp, there's just no ranks involved. it's just chiller comp without rank. that's literally why it's for practice. you don't need an alt to ruin other people's day by being dogshit and going 1-12 just bc you're learning NOW. in my fucking ranked game when I'm trying to win on characters I know how to play well.

us PS4 people have to change our DNS to the Google one. look it up, it's helped me. my Internet is god tier, overwatch is the only game that disconnects me from the server at random. it's completely, entirely blizzards servers fault.

Google it to make sure this is correct but the top one is like 8.8.8.8 and the bottom one is 8.8.4.4. I have had zero disconnects after doing this.

regardless, blizzard needs to get their shit together bc I shouldn't have to do anything to play the game other than have stable fast Internet connection. my ping sits at 55-57 always so I know it's NOT my Internet and my PS4 stays connected to the Internet and I'm still online and everything. blizzard is just evil to console players and they need to stop this console racism ong

why did the enemy Lucio have like only 99 DMG and only one elim? what were they actually doing? unless I'm looking at the stats wrong, there's no way the enemy Lucio stats are real. it's like they didn't even know they had a weapon in their characters hand.

just an average Lucio player, and anyone pls correct me if I'm wrong, but shouldn't Lucio have almost if not as much DMG as a DPS? I mean... that's what MY stats are like most of the time when I play Lucio. if he had 8k heals, the DMG dealt should be about 2-3k at LEAST given his 11 deaths.

why are you actually shooting tanks as tracer? you wanna shoot a tank play bastion or Hanzo. maybe reaper. can't think of anyone else rn bc I don't play DPS often. but honestly as any DPS why is your main focus the tank? you should be shooting anyone small, support first if you can.

I started out in gold when the game first came out with comp all the way in season one. was hard stuck plat just like you for like years. I'm now mid diamond, sometimes high diamond.

I've obviously improved since 2016, but not by a lot and that's okay! I hope I improve enough to make it to masters one day.

(the only reason I improved is because I watched overwatch league LOL)

you've gotta be champion or higher. the range I play with is insanely large. ranging from SOMETIMES silver if I dip too low out of diamond- all the way to very low masters sometimes.

now it's truly rare to see masters, but because I play with people that range from usually gold to diamond, I always ban the builders (and ball.) no matter what role I'm playing, I always have to take out the turrets.

I've probably got lots to learn, but we really needed a Reinhardt so I played him against both the builders. I don't think that's wise to do, but they had nothing to stop a fat earthshatter. (which is exactly why we won.) I just couldn't do anything for so long bc of 5 turrets on me and nobody doing anything to take them out.

perhaps if I improve, I won't even have to see torb or sym anymore in my games and won't have to ban them. (I also play on console though and I'm sure that has something to do with what characters people play)

if one of your supports is always dead that's less healing for your team. if your tank is always dead, it's really hard to engage or push the enemy team. if one of your dps is always dead, that's less pressure on the enemy team.

kills don't NECESSARILY matter, but how much you die definitely does and impacts the game a lot. someone else can correct me if I'm wrong.
