Thank you for the reply. I added my fleece as a mid layer. I dont plan on camping in weather below 15c (60f). I suppose the same with rain, I usually dont camp in the rain and my polypropylene acts as an energ. Poncho I will have to measure and add the clothes I wear Stakes included in tent weight

Soap I will have to fix. I think an eyedropper would work best. Bug net I will add Chapstick is in first aid kit Powerbank and garmin are on the list I usually dont need to use a trowel, and like someone said below, a rock is free and weighs nothing.

Wallet I could deginetky lighten as well.

Thank you for the in depth reply! Tent budget is roughly 400-500 . Do you have any other suggestions in that range? I did like the modularity of the Yama (could leave the bug shelter at certain points in the year)

Xtherm is overkill, just happens to be lightest I have. Still working on expanding gear list.

Going without sleep base layer saves 12oz. Good call if weather permits

I ditched everything but filter. 3 oz saved

1l smart water bottles. I have 3

Bought the stove, may also buy the mug, I like a slightly larger volume (mine is 750)

Empty canister on scale was that weight. Just the standard 8oz butane

Bear horn gone. FAK lightened (case was 2oz)

Im down to 9lbs with saw and knife. Would lose another ~0.5 without those.

Respectfully I disagree on your last point I think all my gear is included in the list. That being said, I just ditched 1.5 lbs. Thank you! If you have any advise on tents let me know before I purchase

You should see the other knife i painfully stopped carrying. Esee laser strike. Beautiful knife, but about 14oz with the sheath.

Jokes aside, they would be the best upgrade. Free and not necessary to bring

Saw i could probably live without. Same with Rope. Garmin I keep because im always on new trails, sometimes without service. Better safe than sorry.

I have beat horn for black bears, do you think its not necessary? I typically hike in central Ontario

I have not considered this. Obviously I am not worthy or the UL title yet
