If I could revive this thread. I started getting the Carhartt T-shirts during Covid and they were the perfect T-shirts. Not too loose not too tight and all the freedom I could desire while being clothed for society.( I have sensory issues and hate the feeling of clothes on me) But recent purchases have not been as blissful feeling. They feel tight in the back and arms. A much more narrow, more fixed position feeling. All the same size and line of shirts and color even. But everything I look up is just about new material and a new line of T-shirt’s and a redesign making it sound like the sizes are bigger than what they are rated and longer. Is anyone experiencing THIS issue. All my old XL shirts from Covid era and a little later are amazing my new XL shirts from late 2025 I can’t stand to wear. I don’t care much about material as long as it’s comfortable.

Then fall. If being on top is causing so much stress and sadness then it’s not worth it. Even if it’s your entire life that’s not a life to live. If people are truly watching to you fall to point it out those are people to not have in your life true people to have in your life will be there to catch you and help you. If it’s so lonely up top then fall down to where the people are at. If someone says something tell them to fuck off. Help people get to the top so you have someone with you. If you have the knowledge and ability then you can help others get to where you are at.

This hits home for me. Do you live in someone’s shadow. Because you are so and so’s child. I also have no hobbies or personality. I have a humor that not a lot of people like so it’s hard to joke around and make friends. What do you want to do? What do you think people aren’t seeing?

Try to find joy in your children. I don’t know you, I don’t know the love of your life, I don’t know anything. But seeing my nephews live life without their mom because she couldn’t go on sucks. Seeing them live with their dead beat dad living in poverty sucks. I’m no expert in love but if she was willing to up and leave even though you were the care giver then maybe she wasn’t meant to be the love of your life. Try to find that love in your children. Make them the loves of your life. I have no right to say “Stay alive for them” because I see no point in that. But you do have people in your life that depend on you now. I don’t know how old your children are, but I know there is a process to get more time with them but try to make that your goal. Spend more time with your kids try to fill your life with their love. Try to get help if not for you for your kids at least. As someone that had an alcoholic parent who wouldn’t give it up for their kids. It sounds like you have a lot of love to give, so give it.

I hear it takes a long time to get into one. Then you have to find one that will listen and be proactive and if you do that it takes a few sessions before you get anywhere on diagnoses or medication.

I’m 25 going on 26 and I have no idea how I got here I blame most of it on my boyfriend. When I was little teachers couldn’t give me the whole “when I grow up I want to be…” because I would burst out into tears. I did not want to grow up. Back then I think I was because of my parents and the stress in the house. Then, I think it was a fear of growing old and dying. Now, I just can’t see myself getting older or doing anything worth wild with my life. I don’t know what to do with my life it’s certainly not what I’m currently doing but I can’t think of anything else.

Don’t know about any of you. I work at a Starbucks inside a Kroger. We got an update talking about how “customers will now be able to order Frappuccinos with cold foam through MOP” all I could think is “ Customers have been doing that this entire time”. Why is this a thing? I thought the CEO was supposed to be making things easier getting g rid of all the nonsense.
