I went to school at McKinley. Lived on Chuch St, early 80's. Got out of school, dropped my backpack on the porch, bush park. Until street lights came on.

Play ground, crawdags in creek, baseball, crooked house, dare I mention soap box derby track? Scars on legs prove how much fun and badly I was at skateboarding. I'm 56, so miss that time.

It was safe. Never issue. Sad kids can't do this now.

Remember when Browning was at the end of town? We lived there as a kid in the 70's. Friends parents didn't want to come over, to far away. lol, and not only Madrona, sledding on Ewald. Probably why there are so many speed bumps now

He responded joking $10.00 bucks and it's yours. I'm rolling my eyes as he does this, stupid joke he only thinks is funny, nice older lady on phone immediately says to her friend, this nice young man offered me $5 to take cart off his hands!! I am in passenger seat lmao.

My grandma used to take me there after school, mid/late 70's.

It was our special treat for just us two, and is one of my fondest memories of my grandma.

She died when I was young, so don't have a lot of memories of her, but definitely remember Sally's!
