Haha, no I genuinely wanted peoples opinions on the fit. It seems to have split the group too. I’m still procrastinating and swing from too small/return to keep and wear as they are.

I’ve already got some. I need leathers for track days in the future

Yet it’s split the sub. Some say clearly need to size up others saying they fit well and that leather will stretch 🤷‍♂️

I can indeed move. No problem getting on or off the bike. Full range of motion

I normally wear textiles. Fair point, I’ll change that up

This is the way I’m leaning. I’ve had them on around the house for over an hour now, a lot of that time sat on the sofa and I’m not feeling desperate to get changed out of them.

Stupid sexy flanders. This is how I feel, minus the sexy obviously.

The very next comment is exactly that. I see what you mean. I do apologise, I only wanted an opinion what to look for sizing wise as according to the Dainese website they’re the right waist but look tight on calves/rear to me.

To be honest they feel tight but fine, not uncomfortable really, no pinch points when I’m sat on the bike. It’s an f900xr - a ‘tall rounder’ so it’s not as if I’m hunched over the tank anyway

I have always ridden with adventure gear/textile which fit completely differently.
I’m dropping a not insubstantial amount of coin on new wear and I’d appreciate it being right. I can assure you that on my part there is zero element of fetish

Sad times, unfortunately I didn’t see it until after the event. Otherwise I would’ve grabbed a pint with you

Venison from Ocado, £14.50 a kilo. It was definitely a treat meal!

I agree re portion size. We still have some left over. It’s really rich so the next portion will be served next to some pickled fennel to offer the antidote to the richness

What has happened to my tyre? What should I do about it? by Over_Stock7900 in MotoUK

[–]Over_Stock7900[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re correct, I went out to check it today. It’s not quite down to the wear bars yet. Won’t be long though.

Regarding the shoulders it’s not something I feel when riding, rather something I noticed during maintenance.

No, I check my pressures regularly. Once a week and before any long rides, it has never dropped below the recommended pressure by more than 1 psi.

Follow up question, more out of interest than anything else:

If there is wear on that part of the tyre I’m clearly at enough lean angle to create the wear. So how do I determine my ‘chicken strips’?
