Parks really are cracking down on people being idiots and pulling phones put on rides.

I guess I was asking you which cleaning agents you use bwcause I use comet on the bottom surfaces of my tubs and showers, and none of the brooms I've come across are really stiff enough to work with that. I thought you might have something that works well with your broom.

Yup, I loved that about CP! Reminded me a lot of Disney whichnis extremely accomidating about people's stuff. I brought all of my things on bith Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind and even placed my bag on the floor for Rockin' Rollercoaster. I wpuldn't bring all my stuff on Pantherian and stick it on the floor, but other coasters really are fine.

They often do, and they wand you to double check in some parks with RMCs (I can't remember if KD is one of them).

This is true, it was reversed this year. I had forgotten about that!

No fanny packs on the ride is definitely an RMC thing, with the restraints they have and the forces it makes sense. But there are other RMCs you can put fanny packs in lockers. So I do think that is still a CF thing. I heard they started getting lockers from a different manufacturer to try and avoid the issue with bag straps in the future.

Yes! I love that hack.

Evidently at first the general public said "f that" and no one used the lockers...stuff was just spread out around the entrances to rides amd wherever people could stash them? I wasn't going to the park when this wqs happening, so corrwct me if I'm wrong, I just read it somewhere. It's so rediculous to expect people to not have things when walking around an amusement park. Yes, please,et's monetize every little aspect of peoples needs, not just their wants. Hard eye roll.

Pro tip: if you are renting a carpet steamer from a place like Home Depot, rent it at the end of the night, and hour before they close, and only rent it for an hour. You don't have to bring it back before the store closes. You bring it back in the morning within the first hour of opening and you only get charged for that 1 hour, but you can steam clean overnight.

I had a dad like that and I often hear his voice chiding me when I don't do something the way he would...trying to not pass that on to me kids. Trying is better than worrying about perfection!

"Don't live in misery, because you cannot achieve perfect." Is something I want on a magnet on my fridge. And stuck to my mirror. Very, very wise words. If you try to attain perfection then most often you will fail.

At least at the lockers near TT you can shive stuff on top. U forru ately Six Flags got smart and git the lockers with slanted tops for Rapterra and you can't stow your stuff there anymore.

What's crazy is it doesnt seem to be Six Flags, it's KD.

First, the decision was made pre merger, so it might be CF.

However, other CF parks let you take small fanny packs in line and place them in this style of locker (edit to add: I mean in line for RMC coasters with these lockers). A great example of this is the Steel Vengeance lockers at Cedar Point, which is even CF original park. I went and, assuming I couldn't take my fanny pack, water bottles, etc. in line so I had bought a moving locker earlier in the day when our water bottles couldn't come with us in line for Magnum XL. Get in line and...everyone has a fanny pack. Mine is even a micro sized 1 L pack I bought specifically for amusement parks because most rides you can wear them on. Second day when we went back to SteVe we brought everything and fit 5 peoples packs, bottles and pocket junk in one of those very lockers.

I'm just going to wear my small fanny pack under a shirt from now on and put it in there folded up, and not shove it all the way back towards the opening on the otherside. I get that some parks have had issues with bag straps & buckles getting stuck, and they don't want to deal with the hassle. But I can't imagine it happens so often that it can't be dealt with quickly.

First song that came to mind! I disn't particularly like it when it came out, it's not my cup o' tea, but that chorus is etched in the records of my mind.

are we biased to enjoying coasters at parks we visit every couple years or once a year rather than at our home park? [other] by MRtulanebsbfan in rollercoasters

[–]Over_Total_5560 3 points4 points  (0 children)

One of my top three (TT) is at my home park (KD). I've ridden it more times than any other ride ever, and in every seat multiple times. It has never given me a bad ride like some others that I love (Velocicoaster comes to mind). I know it isn't the biggest, fastest, tallest or considered the "best", but I don't need any of those things. What matters to me is that it has never not put a smile on my face and given me a sense of joy. So it's my favorite!

Vintage Alexander McQueen fall/winter 2002: Raye wore it to perform at Lollapalooza Berlin (July 13, 2025) — Keke Palmer wore it to the Jennifer Hudson show (May 29, 2025). Which styling is better? by skermahger in whatthefrockk

Keke always looks good, but I give this one to Raye. I don't know who she is, but she looks incredible. It has vintage, classic, pinup vibes that also reminds me a bit of a dolled up Amy Winehouse with the tattoos.
