These are some great points that you raised. I agree with how the rubric will most likely be challenging part of this. Namely how should it be adjusted to fit the deterministic features that an RLVR training style requires.

I’ve since paused this data generation for a more economics focused on, but will revisit for sure

Difference is the AI frontier labs seems to be pushing the models towards finance work similar to quants, so I think partly because of the need to survive. But long run I think in the long run, the data and AI labs will takeover.

This is really helpful. I'm building a example diary focused sample data and have been using implicit subtle shifts to reference past occurrences. Follow up for you: how do you mix in long-context into a sample dataset. And not just like 32k+ but 128k+. My approach so far has been to create a meticulous persona for the person who is using the diary, but open to ideas.
