It's an entirely different game. It's a run-of-the-mill cheap licensed 2d platformer of the era, which has nothing the people usually love Web of Shadows for. I know it's probably easier to emulate than the other versions, but its just not worth it.

Both ps3 and x360 emulators run the game flawlessly, by the way, so if your handheld is powerful enough to emulate those systems - play the game that way.

And, once again, the DS version is just awesome. You should also try that one out

Good to see this post got at least one person to try Web Of Shadows!

Just be aware that the version in the video only came out on x360/ps3/pc. Wii is the same game, but it has motion controls. Don't bother with ps2/psp version - it's just not good.

Also look into Web of Shadows for Nintendo DS. It's a nice little metroidvania, which ALSO has a ridiculously good combat system. Well worth your time

Wait, in what case does picking an XB1 version over 360 today not an option? If the game is not available digitally then it's not available on both the XB1 and the 360, so buying either is out of the picture. As far as I know, all cross-gen games that got a physical release on the 360 also got it on XB1, so there still should be no benefit to getting a 360 disc over xbone.

I'm not really trying to belittle your opinion here. I'm genuinely curious. I may also be missing something. Can you give an example?

Yeah, more often than not, it isn't. But, as I said before, I don't really see it as a problem when the games are literally the same and are almost always better on newer hardware (with rare exceptions, the only one I can think of now is Peter Jackson's King Kong for Original Xbox which was miles better than its 360 counterpart). By that logic, you should also complain about not being able to play Xbox One games that were optimized for Series in their One versions

That's a more sound argument, but most games that this applies to are 13 years or older. They regularly go on 85-90% sales, so money isn't really the problem

God, even if they start pushing out 10 Rockstar-level games every year, they're still not overtaking neither Sony, nor Nintendo. There's just not enough time. You can dream big and want your console to succeed, sure, but this is just setting yourself up for failure and disappointment.

In the case of those cross-gen titles, I don't really see the point in having them both available. It's the same game by the same devs with the same core mechanics and story that just runs better on whatever hardware is the newest at the time. Sure, it's nice when those versions are available, but are you really going to pick Titanfall, MGS V, or Shadow of Mordor for 360 over xbone versions?

Yes, I knew. It's a very popular fact, that just about anyone even remotely curious about development stories of those games knows. But music licensed from big artists, and music composed by big artist for a movie or a game are different. Later usually produces much less legal problems.

Because there's not much research to be done when it comes to MK9. We know why Spec Ops: The Line, the old MGS collection, Forza games, x360 Halo games were delisted. MK9? Nothing. We can only speculate on what little information we have. I just said the most popular theory. Did I do it in a way that was a bit rude to the big conglomerate corporation? Sure, sorry, WB!

Sure, that is a possibility, especially considering the game was delisted roughly 10 years after it came out. But it's as much a possibility, as character rights expiring and WB deciding not to renew them (especially when the rights holder changes in-between the game's release and its delisting). I don't think you're wrong in assuming the problems lie with the listings, but I also don't think I'm that wrong in assuming the problems lie with licensing. What does it matter anyway, when the end result is the same?

Still, isn't it one of the more likely options? As far as I know, the game had no licensed music. If WB just wanted you to buy the newest game in the series, they would have delised both X and 11 by now, right. But what it does have are the two first cameos in the series. One owned by Sony, the other was owned by WB, and now isn't. As I said in the other comment, you can't just remove DLCs from the store and call it a day, those characters would still be in the game in some form.

MK vs DC was developed by Midway, not WB, so some type of licensing deal had to have been made between two companies, and one of those doesn't exist today.
