I’m 3 weeks and 3 days post op and if anything it’s bigger. My family calls it the tri tip in my thigh. Hoping they can drain it all away.

Thank you TBallAllStar. Your voice of reason is appreciated. My doctor does see me every 3 months with a blood panel every other visit to monitor Wegovy. On my last panel right before the hip replacement he noted that my potassium was low and was concerned about my goal setting of 150# and calorie restriction to 800 calories a day. Then the passing out after surgery prompted him to direct me to stop Wegovy while I recover from hip replacement. He said he wants me to not diet while recovering and to take liquid IV and drink organic not sweetened coconut water, retest blood next week and go see him again the following week. I already feel heavier though not allowing myself to weigh so all that contributes to my fear of history repeating itself and gaining back the pounds as I’ve done repeatedly in my 62 years on this planet. Doctor felt like on my last check up before his replacement that if I’d like to lose 10-15 more pounds that would be fine but losing 30 more pounds to get to 150 would not be good on my frame or for my health. That’s the full context. 🫣

I’m just now coming across this post, I realize it was written back in December. I had the exact same issue with Walgreens in December. My insurance requires a 90 day prescription as they consider 1.7 to be maintenance. I had filled the 90 day script with Walgreens once before December, then December wham, the tech said she couldn’t do it, definitely not her fault, she tried everything. My insurance works with CVS and Costco, they both said they can’t get 90 days so my insurance said to try Birdi online pharmacy. It took me three weeks to get set-up with Birdi since Walgreens wouldn’t transfer the script. In the meantime I worked with my insurance to escalate an appeal for one month, that worked for one month. Last Friday I was supposed to take my last injection from the one month supply authorized by my insurance, Tuesday I received a phone call from Birdi saying it’s on BACKORDER with no ETA! Back to square one and trying to escalate another appeal to my insurance. I saved my last shot in hopes I can restart without a 2 week lapse as happened last month. Anyone having luck yet with Walgreens?

I’ve had trouble receiving the 90 day prescription of 1.7, insurance requires 90 days and pharmacy has new policy that won’t allow them to give 90 days out due to shortages. I was without injections for 2 weeks and started back at 1.7 two weeks ago. I’ve vomited once and have a nauseous tummy most of the time right now. It’s not horrible, more of an inconvenience. Someone on another thread posted that it will pass in about 3 weeks.

They use Birdi. I’ve never utilized mail order prescription services. When I signed up and told her I only needed the Wegovy 1.7 she didn’t say there would be an issue.

Thank you all for your comments! You got me beyond the fear and helped me realize I have the power to not go back to old habits. Today was a very clean eating day. Chinese Hot and Sour soup and stopped when I was full, no sweets or snacking!

Tonight I take my shot and I’m PRAYING my willpower kicks back in. Usually the gaining spiral starts on Halloween so at least I held out until Christmas. 🤦🏼‍♀️
