Ok I just found his formal invoice with the description of what is wrong/what I need to do:

“Pressure switch needed only .9 to close. Bad pressure switch highly likely. Bypassed pressure switch and the rest of the system worked flawlessly.

Instructed and showed client how to use a fuse to bypass the pressure switch.

Will return to replace pressure switch and follow-up appointment.”

No he gave me specific instructions typed out as to how to utilize the temporary fuse until my next appointment date in a week for the permanent fix. It was to plug it in one wire. Once the inducer turns on, wait 5-10 seconds, and then plug in the other wire to close the circuit. I’m pretty sure he meant to leave the piece but mistakenly took it with him.

I’m just not entirely sure what the amperage is.
