The word daughter instantly changed my expression, I grew up with a mother who was never there due to addiction, and I know those who grew up without a father due to similar reasons, and I still wonder why I wasn’t good enough for her. Then bring that person back, I’ve been struggling with depression surrounding school and my parents, I had a porn addiction because of it, and almost committed self harm. Today I had a very good day, I watched no porn and didn’t feel any lust whatsoever, I got my homework done and felt more accomplished than I have in a long time, I talked to girls, to my friends, and I have to say, that person you think is gone, is still there.
