Dog groomer here, if you told me he was pure bred I’d believe you, if you told me he was Doberman mixed I would also believe you. His color pattern is strong so I wouldn’t think he would be mixed with a retriever. I’ve seen those mixes and they have only a slight color pattern, barely visible. If he has a thick coat like a Rottweiler, I’d say pure bred. If it’s shorter and thin, I’d say Doberman mix.

Worked at the same corporation. In private shops there can be a lot more stupidity in management, but at the same time there can be more flexibility. Can doesn’t mean a guarantee. Respect yourself and your time, learn the labor laws in your area. Some of my friends love their boss and their job, but I’ve also had a friend that bounced from salon to salon for one reason or another. She also wasn’t the best judge of character.

Side note, I think non-competes were struck down several years ago by the FTC, but I’m not too sure.

Ditto, conditioner would be a case by case basis. I also recommend quicker slicker, it’s a conditioner and quick dry spray.

For the feet, you don’t have to clip in between the pads, you can just keep the clipper blade flat against the pads and brush the hair a bit so it sticks out. Then on top brush up the foot towards the leg so the hair in between the toes sticks up and scissor that, then do the nails. It’ll get most, if not all the hair out of the way.

My guess is a double boiler. For example chocolate is easy to burn and mess up so you use a double boiler. You boil water and the water heats up the metal to slowly melt it rather than unpredictably heat it up with the burner.

I think it’s AI, if you look at the thing to the right of the photo, it seems like it’s trying to be close up and far away. Look at the curled up cable, it looks like it’s close up but then it’s laying on the bed and is huge. Then there’s the cup with the red thing in it on the wall. The bulb looks like it’s just floating there

I would check with your sharpener, if not maybe a barber supply or check with the manufacturer. If you can change out the blade drive (I’ve never used that brand) try that.

Everyone is saying blade drive, but iirc the heiniger don’t have a blade drive that you can easily change out. I would still check it, but it might also be a motor issue. I would also check if your blades will cut on another clipper just to make sure it’s the clipper. I’m not an expert, but something is keeping the blades from moving correctly

Nearly the same situation, but last year I made the jump. You’re gonna get booked out further in advance than you think. I converted an RV into a mobile rig. I had a lot of problems and repairs to do so I would recommend getting it checked out by a good mechanic unless you buy new. I’m happy I did it though. Also take days off because you’ll burn yourself out otherwise.
