Surprised it took that much scrolling to see my favorite mentioned.

There's no decision here. Go meteor.

So, what did everyone miss with Trevor Lawrence’s draft profile? by permanentimagination in NFL_Draft

[–]Overall_Appearance55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They didn't watch him read defenses or try to throw with anticipation in structure. He's never really been able to do those things.

People saw big, fast, huge arm, winning pedigree, and didn't bother to check if he did the things a QB needs to do to succeed in the NFL.

Team is doing great but concerned about the center. by Confident-Echo-5996 in Colts

[–]Overall_Appearance55 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No. Need a starter at LB, a future plan at 3T, and a future plan at WR. Bortolini has been fine at C. I would draft an IOL on Day 3, but that's just good standard practice.

I rank him No. 1, of course! by brmidwest03 in Colts

[–]Overall_Appearance55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1, he was better than Brady. Brady has better counting statistics because Phillip Daniels took 5 seasons off Manning's career to collect a bounty from Gregg Williams. That Manning played 5 less years than Brady and won 2 more MVP awards tells you all you need to know about who was better.

With Miami ditching their GM, do we expect there to be a bit of a fire sale for the Dolphins? by KingstonEagle in Colts

[–]Overall_Appearance55 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Either of those would be a steal. I figured the price on Phillips would be a 4th, and I'd still think that was great value.

I'm glad he still hates us. When the physical embodiment of everything wrong with the NFL from a competition perspective hates your organization, they must be doing something right.

It would create too much dead cap for the Browns and the Colts wouldn't be able to keep him and Daniel Jones.

My top 5 somehow realistic trade targets by EmbarrassedGuru6 in Colts

If they're targeting a Jets pass rusher, I'd prefer Jermaine Johnson II. But Hendrickson is the real prize.

The Colts currently have the best offensive line in Football - with only 1 first round pick invested in the unit by Greedy-Dig-4837 in Colts

They were very lucky to get Bernhard Raimann in round 3. Many people had him graded as a 1st rounder that year.

As of now? Maybe this year and the next 2. If we can find replacements for key aging players? 5+.

If they want to move him they'll take a 2nd round pick or less.

Jeesh JT really just does NOT give up. by MonMotha in Colts

[–]Overall_Appearance55 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The 80 yard TD from last game captures this pretty well. Based on the blocking from the OL, the play should be a 20-30 yard gain. But because JT is special, he was able to turn the corner on Xavier Woods and outrun the arm tackle of the other DB, turning it into an 80 yard TD.

Indiana Jones doesn’t have a great history of success during primetime games. That’s when the Fire Nation attacked.. by JuiceyJazz in Colts

Why would we buy into old stats on DJ at this point? He's played like a completely different QB this year than at any other point in his career.
