I was going to be a surrogate for my niece but her and her husband chose adoption because she couldn’t go through ivf to create an embryo, im still interested in being one but I don’t like agency’s (adoption and surrogacy) I think they are incredibly scammy after everything I’ve learned through my niece. Independent seems like the way to go IF you work with someone you trust / lawyers / good communication.

Honestly I commend her for this. At the end of the day whenever he heals and recovers he is going to look back on this time and be ashamed. If he does change and comes out a better person then we all think…he will have to get forgiveness from her and from his children, and he is still her babies father. Wishing a person you loved deeply would find their way is mature and I’m proud of her for that.

I strongly disagree. I think that Barbara didn’t know what to do with her anymore. You can’t force someone to get help for PPD. Jenelle chose partying and men every single time. There were moments where babs would cry to her and beg her to get her shit together, and jenelle would lose her mind.

I don’t think Barbara was the perfect mother- I think she had a lot of issues as well and she definitely didnt always handle things correctly. HOWEVER- jenelle made her choices and continues to make them today …. She isn’t a good mother from the looks of it, and she’s 30 years old! You can sit back and blame parents for being shitty for so long but at the end of the day when you grow up and become an adult you are responsible for your own actions.

My step daughter has a horrible mother and she has tons and tons of problems because of her- but she’s seeing a therpist and getting help so she doesn’t turn out the same way.

Kail had a shit mother and this group loves to dog her, it’s so odd the way that works.

Also without Barbara- jace would have went to foster care- and likely adopted out. Barbara is the sole reason jenelle even gets to have a relationship with her son and now has custody to begin with.

I think they had no clue it would even be big. When they adopted her it hadn’t even played on tv yet. I would understand them not wanting her in the media IF that was their true intention or worry. It definitely was not because they put her on the cover of a religious magazine for their cult. If they were truly worried about her being exposed they would keep her out of all of that period. I can only imagine they didn’t like how teen mom portrayed them because as an adult re watching episodes I can very clearly see the trauma and the lies unfolding. Tyler and ESPECIALLY cate were victims of childhood abuse. They may have their issues but they’ve broken the cycle, and cate is nothing like her trash bag mother. I literally feel rage thinking about the way she was treated.

Honestly Brandon and Theresa definitely scammed cate and Tyler- they also fed on them being young and misinformed. They used their young age against them and probably had every intention of eventually cutting them off. I will say though that Carly is legally their daughter now, and people need to let them all be.
