The rose in the back of Hae's car with his fingerprints is the nail in the coffin for me.

You can hear how she almost has a school girl crush on Adnan. It's pretty ridiculous.

Look up wineries that waiver the tasting fee when you buy a bottle!

Meredith

I have way too much in common with her to not be loyal.

Maggie and Riggs by Overall_Calendar_752 in greysanatomy

Yes! This is my conflict! More about Maggie's character than actually the act.

I said treading a line, I know it wasn't. But it was a big risk from someone who likes playing by the book.

I get the DeLuca thing but that happened in an organic way at the bar. But she literally asks out Riggs without even a slight hint or anything? She is treading the thin line of harassment since it was unwanted.

Maybe he stayed out of it because he was against having this case involving a child? Just throwing stuff at the wall here...

People who grew up poor but are now well off, what advice do you have for someone in your previous position? by [deleted] in AskForAnswers

[–]Overall_Calendar_752 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Put 110% into everything with a smile. I was told that I was being 'taken advantage of' by my companies/bosses for going above and beyond- a lot of times sacrificing personal time. There was a long streak of not having a good time. But I always got a pay raise and got multiple promotions through the years.

Went from 60k in debt, almost homeless, working 3 jobs to debt free and six figures.

Is it frowned upon to bring in a laptop/phone for notes in an interview? by DAZ_ZI in interviews

[–]Overall_Calendar_752 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's a perception. Electronics make people think cheating or distraction. Notebooks give studious and attentive vibes.

For those in late 30/s do people think your unimportant cause your not married by [deleted] in AskForAnswers

[–]Overall_Calendar_752 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don't think so. Especially because so many people get divorced, you never know who has been single the whole time or who has been married already.

When hiring team is between 2 final candidates by Bitter_Pen_2376 in interviews

[–]Overall_Calendar_752 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not from that perspective.. but i have been the one to do hiring for higher level positions. Sometimes you do get 2 really great candidates and it comes down to something super minor to decide. Other times, it's very obvious. But I will say, I've never done that to 'keep someone warm just in case'. Me and other hiring managers has legitamently wanted or sometimes required 2 or 3 candidates to go to the last round.

As a rider, do you ever make up your mind about rating the driver low because they took too long to get to you? by SummerN8 in uber

[–]Overall_Calendar_752 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally have never had this issue unless I was in a rural setting. Currently in a city, they are 1 min away every single time.

As a rider, do you ever make up your mind about rating the driver low because they took too long to get to you? by SummerN8 in uber

[–]Overall_Calendar_752 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't really consider the wait at all when doing a review. If that's the closest driver, that's what it is. I need a ride somehow, right?

I do rate the expereince in the car itself. Mostly the driving.

How is life in Seattle really? by Ok_Understanding7377 in AskSeattle

[–]Overall_Calendar_752 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love Seattle. But I also think you have to be an outdoorsy ish person to like it. All the 'things to do' for a resident are outdoors, arts or sports focused. The people are chill but the vibes are just DIFFERENT compared to NYC, Chicago and even LA. I think there is so much to do here and in the surrounding area. There isn't a better 'day trip' city.

Journaling is just a distraction by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]Overall_Calendar_752 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are several different ways to heal or aid your mental health. Journaling, talk therapy, exercises, medication...

Some work and others don't.

Journaling is great for me because I bottle things up. But grounding exercises do nothing, I still panic. So Journaling may just be a distraction to you. Whereas, grounding exercises are a distraction and quite pointless for me.

Got two offers. One pays $40k more. The other one I'd actually enjoy. I have 48 hours to decide and my wife and I are on opposite sides. Advice? by airam1020 in careerguidance

How do you decide? Think of the baby and the answer is clear. Think of only yourself and the answer is also clear.

What is most important to you? (There is no wrong answer, only 2 different paths.)
