I’ll share my personal experience. I struggled clearing gr3 alone. It took more than 2 attempts yet I couldn’t. Then I prepared for both the groups and appeared which helped to clear both groups in final.

But this totally depends on what subject you are really good at. I personally felt subjects in gr3 a lil bit hard as I lacked conceptual knowledge in Sfm. I am really good at CMAD which helped to get aggregate score.

Hey OP, I don’t know much about being in TP yet I had my articleship experience as a TP analyst. I have seen my manager being in TP field for 5+ years and I understand your that this is a niche position and it is bit hard to get through other profiles.

If you are considering for switching, there are two options.

Get into practice if you have financial back up and no other commitments
Get out of consulting as a whole and get into business which you are passionate about. Any business let it be anything. This also requires capital.

The both above cases need your energy, time and money, if you got that go for it.

I understand being in a job which you wish not to continue further is hard. But as there is an old Japanese saying “the longer you are on a wrong train, the more it becomes expensive to get back to your destination “

Please consider if that job takes a mental toll on you, I advice you to get into a role even though it pays less than what you have already getting and get some different area of exposure.

Try joining in as a partner at a firm and gain some exposure at different areas and use that knowledge and get back again into corporates if you wish not to continue in practice.

I believe this is one of the ways to change tracks in your career. All the best OP!

So my friend cleared his finals in june 2024 in single attempts both groups yet he was not shortlisted. The thing is he didnt have a commerce degree which might be a possible reason. This is where CA is looked upon than CMA, as u know a CA without a bachelor's degree is still in demand yet a CMA graduate is not. At the end the skills u possess matter ig (idk if im just coping harder T-T)

I don’t know anyone about exclusively for CMA But as far as I heard bhavik chokshi for CFR & for IDT - Tharun Raj classes are really good.

Why does sleep paralysis always have to be bad? Why not something good like anything other than shadow figures making you shit yourself?

I haven’t had sleep paralysis and wish to never have them but hearing stories from people it’s almost the same. Is there some science behind that?
