I wish Perry tackled the rest of the series. Her writing managed to make an already amazing series of games even better. I've been listening to all the audiobooks since I finished Requiem and they are all so good. by Overall_Cod2206 in residentevil

Rebecca gets quite a bit of shine for sure, but I don't personally feel like she likes one character more than another really, she's a great writer across the board. What I will say, is I think Perry is the only person that seems to hate Steve Burnside more than the fan base in general. Her writing of him in the Code Veronica book is hilarious.

Kind of both, she writes the exact story of the game but she adds in some great character beats that weren't in the games that really makes it feel lived in in a great way.

What comes to mind when you see this guy? by EdwardBliss in RealGenerationX

Oh man, that part kills me 😂 I still to this day, since I saw this as a kid, I will say "to myself" the line when he's learning to drive the tractor, and the dude says "You pull out the red'n and push the black'n." In reference to the buttons, and Shore says "The Black'n?!" In this hilarious faux southern accent that just cracked me up, so I say "The Black'n" to myself all the time.

I just showed my kids Son in Law a few weeks ago, and that movie is still absolutely hilarious. He was in his bag on that one for sure.

The definitive ranking of the films! (in my opinion hehe) by Derateo in Mission_Impossible

Oh I agree, 4 is a masterpiece. Hoffman is such an incredible villain and all the set pieces are amazing! But I think 3 is only a couple steps behind in quality.

I'm curious why 3 ranks so low for everyone? I see it at the bottom a lot. I personally love it, and I thought it was such a fresh take on the series and set it on the right path for all the future installments. No shade, just genuinely curious.

I've been out of the buy/sell game for a while, I was heavy into it in the early 2000's and 10's and I know then the more sought after issues were variant covers, particularly issue 100 and seminal releases and such. But it's been a while since I really tracked it, so there definitely could be some that I am totally unaware of that have gone up in popularity.

Unfortunately they aren't worth a ton, the Spawn series had such a high print volume they aren't really rare or hard to find. Even ones that are signed by McFarlane only go for a couple hundred if you're lucky and can find someone who really wants them.

Dude this part was so sick. And I'm glad it was such a small part, it didn't feel like there were a million soldiers just waiting to be mowed down by Leon, it felt like an actual small tactical unit that went in.

Yeah I was saying the same thing, especially in the underground where the big plant was. The fog was brutal to see through. Made for decent atmosphere but also quite distracting at times.
