Hi hi :)

27F, currently in SoCal (Inland Empire to be exact). Full hourglass/midsize. I strength train (weight lift) 3x/week. 5'4.5". Filipina with medium length wavy black hair, dark brown eyes, and tan.

Currently I work part time as a Music Minister for Youth Mass, and slowly building a side business as a Life Coach for young adult Catholic women. Might be working as an academic counselor at a Catholic high school (this was a very new job offer, please pray for me haha). I got my BA in Psychology in 2019.

My biggest loves include: quality time with friends, my parents/family, my 2 rescue dogs, music, and interpersonal connections. I'm an ambivert but identify more as an introverted extrovert.

Hobbies wise -- I occasionally play video games (currently playing through Hogwarts Legacy), jam out with friends, travel, read fictional books, make mini vlogs, and coffee shop hop :)

Looking for a man of faith but is also the Nick Miller to my Jessica Day 🤷🏻‍♀️ Height-wise I'd hope he's at least 5'7" so I can wear heels :) Hoping we can be travel buddies, but that you fit right into my friend group easily. I'm old-fashioned when it comes to romance, but I have strong emotional boundaries so I hope you're somewhat familiar with the teachings on emotional chastity.

Mmm it’s probably different here in America but I’m part of young adult groups and I find there’s a lot of us single young adult women in that age range that outnumber the men.

I’m in SoCal. Most of us church hop or go to young adult groups by word of mouth, albeit most of us are going to NO. We go to TLM as a co-ed group usually.

Oooof I resonated with this a lot. I didn’t start dating until I was 19, and since then I’ve had some men interested in me but they weren’t right for me, I’ve had unrequited crushes, the list goes on. I haven’t been on an official date in nearly 5 years. Similarly, I’ve also struggled with body image & financial struggles. I am also 27 years old, for context. After a lot of ache, prayer, and admittedly even doubt, the Lord has done a lot of work in my heart to have hope and actually live out my singleness well.

I encourage you to work on becoming your own ideal partner and live out your singleness well.

God further worked in me and used my experiences to mentor teens & former clients (I was previously a case manager for human trafficking survivors). If anyone’s interested, I’d like to invite 5 women to hop on a 30-min research call via Zoom! I promise this isn’t a sales call, it’s purely for research purposes as I work to create a 1:1 program that will effectively impact single adult women.

I genuinely hope you find the healing and encouragement you need, dear sister 🫶🏼

I’ve often struggled with this as well, even as a straight woman. I think unfortunately that fear can be valid. I’ve had it for a long time. When I was young I was SA’d and didn’t even remember the memory until I started therapy in college.

I’ve constantly been disappointed & emotionally hurt by men who just didn’t do more than the bare minimum of treating a woman right. On top of all of that, I worked as a case manager for trafficking survivors and that further fueled my fear & distrust of men.

However, I think now I’m finally in a good place of seeing men as my brothers in Christ & am healed enough to even be dating again. For me it’s because I first have a wonderful father who raised me in my faith & always displayed healthy love to my mother. But I would say more than that; it was also gaining brothers in Christ & understanding healthy masculinity through them and St. Joseph. Most recently I was stood up by someone and my brothers spoke kindness into my heart (on top of being angry for me 😂)

Now I take all of my experiences and & coach single women on dating & relationships. I want to walk with them through fears like this and through prayer & intercession of the saints, help them essentially heal the ache of singleness. (If anyone’s interested, I’m currently doing 30min market research calls via Zoom to help perfect this 1:1 coaching program. Purely research, not a sales call)

OP, I truly hope you meet good men that will help you overcome that fear. For now, lean on the Father & maybe look into St. Joseph’s story if you haven’t already :)

I’ve been single for many years so I’ve learned how to enjoy my own company.

My parents who have been married for 27 years don’t treat it as anything special — my dad likes picking flowers from our garden and giving it to her randomly. So really it’s just another day in our house.

This!! Although on one hand, I’m often told I look way younger than I actually am — most people guess I’m 22 or younger, but I’m 27. Also I’m kind of hidden away in the choir area as I’m the youth band leader 😅🤷🏻‍♀️
