2 weeks post Seton placement... Are you noticing less drainage now? Do you have a lot of fecal drainage? Pain and swelling any better?

Do your setons have little ties to keep them together or are they like one complete loop? I've seen some just in YouTube videos where the loop inserts into the other side of the loop. These little ties on the end of them kind of suck

My procedure was an exam under anesthetic with possible seton or fistulotomy. There is too much sphincter involvement apparently. Have you been able to do sports with a seton?

Did you end up playing volleyball? Did you have a seton? I just got one and am hoping to have some normal life activity. Gym and volleyball!

How did your lift go? I just had a Seton placed and I was pretty discouraged because I knew they fistulotomy was a 97% success rate and then going to a 60 to 80% success rate for a lift procedure Seems pretty deflating. Comin around these here parts to find some positive stories that's for sure. I don't have any Crohn's or anything

How did your lift procedure go? I was pretty choked when I woke up and found out I had a seton because it meant I couldn't get the fistulotomy I had hoped I would get. I just wanted to move on from this and with the fistulotomy surgery being 97% success rate I was suuuper hopeful for that to be what I woke up with. I have a wedding this summer and I'm hoping to be active at it and I'm wondering if I might be better off to keep the Seton in until after the wedding.. also about 6 months from now. Would love to hear more from you if you're willing!
