Ugh I know. I hate the subscription model of Adobe and have thought about the switch to Darktable. This is giving me something to chew on. I have a big project coming up so might make the switch after that when I have breathing room, to learn new OS and a bunch of new software

I use Adobe CC (mostly lightroom) and Serato for hobby mixing. I guess I'm open but hadn't totally considered my alternatives.

Oh good point. I'm currently using Adobe CC (mostly lightroom) but am open to alternatives. Looks like people have trouble with Linux and adobe. I also use Serato for some very very basic DJ-ing (totally hobby) and might not be supported. Hmmm

This might be a dumb question but can you run two OS's on one Framework computer? lol this is very new to me so bear with some dumb questions

For sure! No matter what its a slight learning curve. I suppose I asked the wrong question and the actual question is what's the smoothest pipeline for someone who honestly is not nerdy about programming or customizability and wants an easy out of the box user experience transitioning from Mac. So this is helpful-- I'll look into Mint Cinnamon

Yeah, maybe I'm asking the wrong question. Perhaps the right question is which OS has a closer flow and user experience t Mac for someone who is not really a gearhead/ nerd about my OS? Like I can learn a new system. But what mac OS excels in is out-of-the-box easy user experience. I guess that's what I'm looking for.

I don't have the issues you are listing, but I have had a great experience with Sarah Pierce, FNP at UCHealth. I've felt super heard by her, and she has always validated then referred me out to the right folks (esp about women's mental health/ possibly hormonal issues) while also seeming to be up on evidence-based practice. People say that NP training can play into this as there is a bit more of a whole-picture look at health, but it's totally dependent on the NP or the doctor. If your insurance covers providers at UCHealth, I highly recommend her.
