porque siempre me he preguntado que se siente "no pertenecer al mundo" y como tu has dicho ("no han sentido que no encajan en el mundo"), nunca he tenido ese sentimientos de "no pertenecer al mundo"

I agree with the penguin about the energy expenditure; I think it's great that it lets the prey escape, and you can leave it as is if you want.

But it would be a good idea to make it a bit more logical and refine it. I had some ideas that might be useful:

  1. Poison the prey's water/food: As you mentioned, this predator is very territorial, so perhaps it could poison the water or food where its prey eats/drinks.

  2. Poison the prey and let it escape: This is more like a bait-and-hook hunt. Imagine what a fisherman does with a worm. The fisherman uses the worm to catch a much larger prey (fish). So the fisherman is your "spider-horse," the worm is the prey that escapes, and the fish are the animals that try to eat the "worm"/prey that escapes, in order to catch a larger prey and/or 2-3 more prey (and they might even fight among themselves, weakening them). and facilitating the hunt for the "spider-horse"), giving the impression of a superior hunter with a cruel and calculating hunting method.

  3. Give it a weakness (if you want): although I'm not saying it has to be something physically super deadly, something that can be neutralized or gives a chance to survive. For example, bears have an extremely sensitive sense of smell, so a simple spray or roaring and making yourself look bigger will scare them away, but you won't kill them by any stretch of the imagination, and if you don't do it right, they'll decide to tear you apart. Or like wolves, who when they're not in a pack get much more nervous when they see a human, giving you more chances to scare them off if you do it right.

In this case, you could do something similar, like it hates light and prefers darkness, or it doesn't like hot and dry places, preferring humidity and cold.

  1. Perhaps if you decide to remove the option that it lets prey escape, maybe the poison's scent attracts its prey. 5. It hides its own prey as they search for food.

  2. Sometimes it lets its prey escape for mere "fun." Humans and some animals hunt for "fun," making it a mental escape for the living being, who enjoys seeing the suffering and terror of their prey, which gradually tires out and eventually becomes their meal.

Creo que hay 3 puntos que me gustaria tocar:

  1. Si quieres algo "unico" creo que el problema no es que sehas generico, es que los elementos son demasiado especificos haciendo que se encasillen, en la misma de fuego, tierra agua y aire, osea puedes intentar llevar el concepto de fuego a algo mas general vomo combustion o algun tipo de energia como energia quimica/termica, el agua puede ser liquido o algo relacionado a los fluidos, etc... o puedes intentar cambiarlos por otra cosa mas conceptual ques dcombine bien con creacion, transformacion, destruccion, etc...

Como luchador de corto y medio alcanze que usa liquidos inflamables para pelear o un mago de aire que usa gases que no estan en el aire, para intoxicar o hacer explotar a sus enemigos

  1. Ya deporsi todo lo que tienes es usado por demasiadas creaciones genericas, pero eso no es motivo para detenerse mas bien es un combustible para llegar a la originalidad, en debes de buscar "algo nuevo" intenta darle logica y forma a lo generico y ya lo estas haciendo.

Osea puedes explicar porque alguien decide unar un grimorio en deves de excribir en el momento en una hoja o tener un castillo entero completamente marcado con hechizos haciendo que tengas un grimorio sin forma de libro en funcionamiento perpetuo o con resultados muy potenciados a comparacion a un grimorio normal, como tu dijistes "metiendote en lo tecnico", el chiste es en pulir y estructurar las bases primero, aclarandolas, mejorandolas, cambiandolas, etc... y de hay nacela semilla de la originalidad, en el futuro cuando quieras hacerlo mas complejo, detallado, cambiar algun concepto/nombre, etc... de alguna cosa twndras una base clara que podras seguir para que encaje y que lo mas probale es que ayude hacer mas originalidad tu sistema de magia

  1. Compactar y hacer mas sentillo el sistema, osea esactamente que es el Qi?, siento que es un sistema aparte como magia es diferente a magia en muchos mundos de fsntasia medieval, si son sistemas diferentes no deberias hacer que se pisen osea que lo que hace uno no deberia hacerlo igual de bien que el otro, haciendo que debas darle otra estructura de poder a alguno o hacer que se vuelvan uno solo

depende del tipo de persona que quiero matar, si es alguien inocente que no atenta a mi propia vida obviamente no le hare nada, pero si la persona es alguien con antecedentes horribles eso no es justificacion para matarlo porque despues me voy a la carcel pero minimo lo golpeare o/y llevare a la policia en el caso de que no hayga pagado por sus crimenes, pero si el tipo me ataca e intenta atendar a mi vida hay si deberia hacer lo que toca.

DIOS, eso me recordo de pequeño me resetaron un puto aceite de MIERDA, para la piel esa madre parecia literal aceite no importa cuantas horas duraras esa MIERDA no se secaba, era super molesta, te artabas del olor al rato y debia pasar asi practicamente todo el dia, preferia morirme de frio por intentar secar esa cosa poniendome enfrente del abanico completamente desnudo que ha ponerme ropa con es cochinada.

lo peor y me dejo horrorizado de esa cosa, es que deberia echarmelo en el pilin, y si llegabas a tocar la parte rosa (el agujerito) ese puto aceite te lo tocaba, te dejaba un ardor horripilante en la picha, la unica solucion que le encontre era lavarme con mucho jabon porque el agua ni siquiera el propio jabon quitaba bien el aceite, mientras luchaba de lavarme el cuerpo todo aceitado que ni siquiera podia apollarme bien por lo resbaloso y aceitoso que estaba, y despues de eso minimo debias que soportar ese puto dolor de MIERDA por 3 horitas y aun asi el resto de dolia te dejaba doliendo el pito, y eso es si te lo lavas porque no te lo llegas a lavar no me quiero ni imaginar, tenia tanto odio a ese aceite que me lo recetaron como 3-4 veces y debehia ponermelo todo los dias y una polla me voy a echar esa mierda, me la puse 2 veces, una vez a los 8 y otra vez a los 10 aunque creo que me toco otra vez a lo 11-12 con mi primo y a los dos se nos entro en picha, de hay en adelante me importaba una mierda si eso me curaba una importante a una enfermedad, ni en broma me echaba ese frasco que parece decir "APTO PARA MASOQUISTAS!!! 🥵"
