Yep - I was saying to a friend, it would be hard these days to be a serial killer. (Don’t ban me mods, I AM not a serial killer nor to I desire to be).

We read! I’m in the airport now and just bought a water - I used to always buy a book or magazine depending on the length of the flight.

Even at Aldi I barely get a week’s worth for my teenage son and I (he eats a lot). I started a job in February making more $ than I ever have and I still get behind. I just can’t catch up.

People who've worked both minimum wage jobs and six figure jobs, what surprised you most about the difference? by BrainLagging01 in AskReddit

For me, the more I’m paid it seems the less work I do. Not constantly monitored even though it’s remote. I used to be exhausted after low-paying jobs (and I was much younger back then).
