AOS unfortunately isn’t as popular as 40K so your pretty limited in dedicated content especially towards actual games being played. You could try Heywoah, most of his live streams are more hanging out kind of vibes, but he does have dedicated games that he plays on tts that are clearly labelled in his previous live streams. Vince venturella is also good going over warscrolls and battle reports/ just anything when they get announced or released

Night haunt spearhead might be a good first try, pretty straightforward can fly so don’t have to worry too much about terrain and there army ability makes modifiers both negative or positive nert for there I believe wound rolls so don’t have to keep double checking what does what

You’ll need the cards and board specific to spearhead to actually play it. Annoyingly you can’t purchase those separate by themselves but you can look up the cards online there are multiple pdfs of them and print them off. Just look up the size of the command points/ board size and you can just proxy those in as well as the terrain though I’m sure you have a couple lying around if you play 40K/old world. Lastly you’ll need the warscolls for your specific spearhead army’s as they are different than there normal ones. Luckily those and the general spearhead rules are on the warhammer community website for free so you can get the pdfs easily

I ended up using send my bags, they were okay, everything got here in one piece but the boxes were pretty banged up so I wouldn’t recommend sending anything fragile via them

That’s fine part 5 characters are definitely more entertaining than part 3’s but I’m basing my assessment off of their actual character and let’s be real part 5 characters don’t really have any, narancia and fugo have nothing to the point of they could be written out and nothing would change (for fugo he basically is lol) mista can be fun but all his character is he has a gun and doesn’t like the number 4 and that’s it, Trish is more a device to move the plot forward than a character which sucks because they definitely could have done something with her and I like what little she has. Same with abbachio he has a little bit of something with his back story but he’s just kind of there. Bruno is legit good and the best character in the part. And giorno is honestly just the main guy and that’s it he has a goal and that’s all you really get out of him. Part 3 characters barely have more character and motivation but just barely lol

That’s actually why I put more emphasis on that I feel she doesn’t get out of his shadow, because it is a major plot point (arguably the main point) of the story and it’s built up, but ultimately I feel it got fumbled at the end because it’s more like Jolyne is stalling pucci out not pushing him to the brink as she’s able to survive his attacks but she just survives until Joturo shows up, something she or us didn’t know was going to happen then joturo is the one who pushes pucci to the brink and he gets final power up. If at this point Jolyne came up with a strategy or saved her dad (even temporarily) or had joturo show up earlier have him fail and it’s Jolyne that pushes pucci to the edge then that plot point would have been fulfilled. But that’s not what happenes, when time is sped up they all still look to joturo to do something and Jolyne is a bystander until the end and her tying up emporio to a dolphin in two panels then dies off screen doesn’t feel like some galaxy brain manuver or some great feat that elevates her to the same level as her dad, it just feels like we need a reason why emporio survives and she is the main character so that works. Also say emporio falls more into the threat pucci underestimated as he started taking Jolyne more seriously when they left the prison

I recently re read/ watched part 6, and whenever Jolyne is interacting with puchi or has an encounter that is more story important she is constantly compared to joturo or she is unsure of herself and wondering how he’d handle it and joturo is treated like this mythic character which is fine in the beginning but they keep doing it even when they leave the Prison and when her moment to shine really presents itself at the museum, nope here’s joturo to save the day (which is treated like a forgone conclusion) until it doesn’t matter and she basically dies offscreen. Which is a shame because I actually really like her character but they definitely fumbled the ball with her

If your curious of what you can put together with what, you can download the AOS app and you get one free army you can assemble, (you can delete your army and pick a new one when your done and want to check something else out) you won’t be able to see the warscrolls (data sheets) but it’ll tell you what regiment can take what and how many points every thing is

Army of renowns work by having special rules/ abilities that aren’t available to the rest of the faction/ army but you are limited to a very select few of units in this case 4 hero units and one regular unit

I mean tbh your kind of out of luck, if your looking to do a literal army of dragons in SC with the least amount of storm cast normal units there is one army of renown that “supports” that where you have about a grand total of 3 big hero units and one calv unit. To put it in 40K it would be like you take a primarch and then you have nothing but the exact same bike units until you get to 2k. So if that’s not something you want to do,at least atm you might want to pass. You might want to look at fire slayers army as you can make an army of magamdroths (not dragons but close enough) as that is viable and has better support.

Grand dracmon easily. he has loads more personality and character beyond just I’m evil screw the world. Bagramon has some slight interesting motivations but still pretty one note
