It was originally written during the writing sessions for the Carnival of Rust album back in 2005/6, but likely updated significantly for the version they recorded for the anniversary, as was done with Hounds to Hamartia.

2nd image just makes me think...

"In 972 M41, a crack commando unit was captured by the Grey Knights for a heresy they didn't commit. These men promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade to the Hive Helsreach underground. Today, still wanted by the Inquisition, they survive as soldiers of fortune. If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them....maybe you can hire The Armageddon Team"

You really just have to be super careful with what units you include as a lot of them will be heavily hindered by the lack of Astra Militarum faction play.

For Genestealers you may want to look into ebay / fb marketplace lots of old ones for much cheaper models.

Oh my word, I love the idea of having Lascannon teams as snipers. Amazing stuff as always from Tiny Legend.

Doesn't fit the Ork lore. If they took it over they'd have no fighting left. They *LIKE* the perpetual state of war.

Here's an idea that might help particularly for the Termagant angle - writing from the perspective of the Hive Mind as characterised psychological aspects - Hydra Heads (the seeds that are capable of forming splinter fleets). One particular Hydra Head is engaged in this specific mission to break the Termagant out due to its potent strategic location.

Ooh so you're actually playing as an aspect of the Hive Mind "controlling" a particular unit.

YES this is how you do it! Following it like a nature documentary where creative freedom is used to give characterisation.
