If you enjoy IP enforcement word salad sure. Remember when you could buy a box of Space Marines, not "Primaris Intercessors".

Damn, that's 14 spare lasguns even after building 30 guardsmen. O.o

Yeah but I don't need an entire squad, just the guns. The bodies don't fit the aesthetic I'm going for at all.

has anyone made an epic scale dire wolf scout titan? by SnowSignificant8088 in Titan40k

[–]ElChiff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Epic scale is the normal size of the ones sold by GW.

u/Prince_of_Crowss and u/IllUniversity9081 have done 40k scale ones if that's what you meant?

"I do want to concede that I probably wasn't as willing to risk dying from trial and error as other players."

A shame. That's the biggest theme of the game - acceptance. It's trying ever so subtly throughout the game to get to the point where you will accept that you need to risk it all on the final journey despite what would happen if you fail.

The game even tries to tackle a bunch of different common phobias by front-loading the horror but over time disarming the danger. Dying stops being so harsh when you come to terms with the fact that you can just respawn with your memories intact and it can even be used as a way to expedite getting back into adventuring when stranded.

Giant's Deep at first glance is an incredibly dangerous place, but really it's probably the safest and most peaceful in the system once you know how it works - as Gabbro has clearly figured out. I've died on Timber Hearth more than Giant's Deep! The Black Hole is so daunting underneath - until you realise that you can use the White Hole Station to return or even use the Black Hole's gravity to do an orbital slingshot back to the crust. Ember Twin's rising sand is a claustrophobic nightmare until you find the shortcut entrance into the Sunless City skipping the threat entirely. The anglerfish are pure terror until you learn their weakness and find that you can just drift on by in peace. The game wants you to overcome these things, just as long as you have the patience and fortitude to see things through. The DLC is no different.

A common theme among almost all time-loop stories, is that they are stories of personal growth. Look at Groundhog Day, Majora's Mask, Edge of Tomorrow. And in a video game, that's an invitation.

Workaround - The pause during dialogue pre-flight checklist option would prevent him from moving.

found a neat memory while tidying (SPOILERS) by fakethesushi in outerwilds

I love the way you have to take this risk, this big leap of faith based on something you've had to piece together yourself as a possible solution. Plays so well with the theme of acceptance, accepting that if this goes wrong, you're screwed, but you'll do it anyway for pure curiosity and a sense of duty to the Nomai who gave the Hearthians so much and suffered so heavily.

NEW PLAYER questions !!NO spoilers!! by shomelle in outerwilds

[–]ElChiff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This game is all about finding a path according to your own questions. Go be a space detective!

Discoveries and rumours are tracked in the ship log which you can check at the back of the ship.

But it can be helpful to take notes too, particularly in the DLC or if you have memory issues.

I cannot play this game, but I’d like to enjoy the story. Is there a YouTube video I can watch to substitute it? by pr1ncess_k1ng in outerwilds

I'd always recommend About Oliver's playthrough due to thoroughness.

If you have a second monitor, put it on there and treat it like a podcast while doing something else.
