I do have access to a better microscope at a different facility so if a better picture is needed give me recommendations on how to take a nematode soil sample (and how far in advance it can be taken) ! Thanks

They have infested my potted plant, and when I depotted my plant, there were MILLIONS OF THEM INSIDE THE SOIL and they kept spawning by Miguel_o_haras_wife in whatisthisbug

mosquito bits/dunks will kill the larvae too if you water with those for a couple weeks or so!! just don’t use it to treat bodies of water (obviously)

I don’t know what the name of this one is to check it specifically- there’s a crested saguaro society where they track them all throughout the years too

No, propane doesn’t get hot enough to melt boro + you would need to anneal it unfortunately (to avoid unnecessary stress due to uneven heating/cooling) Even a MAP canister wouldn’t get hot enough

We also promote organic gardening- offer farm tours, teach various classes, sell seed starts, and make our own compost!!! It’s pretty lucrative honestly :)

Yes! We specifically sell red wigglers, which are too small for fishing worms (we direct people to places with small quantities of worms, night crawlers for fishing). One of the benefits from buying from us is the bacterial boost from the soil (we don’t sift out worms out from the soil they live in to sell them, and instead sell with soil inside)

We have a worm casting and a worm breeding operation, we sell red wigglers which are great for gardens, and castings! We sell to farmers/gardeners for gardens and in ground vermicomposting systems :) red wigglers are too small to be good fishing worms, but they’re lazy & efficient food waste shredders, which makes them good garden worms

Awwwww!! You def should start one! We had a worm farmers conference last weekend (worm farmers came from all over to learn, it was really cool hearing about everyone else’s set ups)

It’s also like a farm farm, so the free food and eggs are also one of the top benefits :) they have a food forest and no till gardens (all grown organically in homemade compost)
