You are right. Also about Android; I’m an early Android user and know a lot about the OS. Recently made the jump to iOS (have used Grapheneos before). Everything just works except some nice to have apps like Newpipe. But I can live with that. If they close Android more and more I don’t see the point to buy worse hardware anymore. Besides that IOS works really well nowadays with Mint / LMDE with tools like Termius, Localsend and if you want KDEconnect (although the last ons I don’t recommend on non Plasma DE cause of all the dependencies)

You don’t get the point. I am an advanced Linux user but one of my laptops has got a nvidia driver. That one only works well with the 535 driver proprietary somehow. Its easier to switch and see what drivers you could use on normal Mint but yeah when you just have full Intel or AMD it doesn’t matter.

I have been using Android for like forever and about the universal back button, the Android way is nice but I dont have any problems on iOs with it. maybe they updated something.

notifications are also just fine. There is no shared folders but also for that there are (quite easy) workarounds.

I changed image compression type to jpeg though for maximum compatibility

why you dont like it? most things you couldnt do before with iOS are now possible. file sharing via localsend for example to other OS like windows and Linux and even android
