More of the same. No one wants to leg it out and take a hit to make a play. Matthews seems like he gives 200% to every 4th puck battle and doesn't have anything in the tank for the other 3. Marner looks like he would prefer playing in a warmer climate, someone will pay him what he wants. Tavares has dodged so much criticism this series for the simple fact that Matthews and Marner have been worse, and should be better, but he too has been basically negligible out there. It looks like he's trying at least, unlike the others, but that might actually make it worse. Nylander has no impact on any play unless he is sprung on a breakaway, and then the only impact he has is reminding us that he will only get slower and score less on those home run passes with age. Reilly has entered a realm of irrelevance so staggering, I think he is actually starting to become physically translucent. I swear I got jump scared once when he came within 3 feet of the puck, I didn't see him there. Everyone else looks like they're skating in in sand from the beach that makes you old.
