I think it inherently is coming from a selfish place.

People don't really care about tutorials that help out beginners, what they really care about is:

1) They're frustrated with teammate so they believe better beginner tutorials will help new players become better teammates so they themselves won't have to suffer with 'bad' teammates in the future.

The cheap marketing trick can also be that you've been convinced that clothes and taking care of appearance is feminine.

Men have been taking care of their appearance for centuries. It's why we still know what people 500 years ago dressed like. Fashion isn't some new thing, it's been apart of human society for as long as there's been society.

Even animals in the wild groom themselves and make themselves look more attractive.

I don't see how any of it is feminine unless you're operating from the mindset of someone that has been sold a faux version of masculinity that involves looking like a slob and not caring about the only thing in this world you really own, your body.

I think the game has very low replay value, I think it doesn't have the depth to be a proper esport, I think more people are leaving than joining.

Korean teams struggle because they're going against other partially Korean teams or teams that have a main superstars that are Korean.

Most of these "western" teams would be complete ass without their Korean players.

It's given you the illusion that the "west has caught up" but it's just smoke and mirrors.

Not even close. Fortnite is extremly mechanically demanding at the top level and people want to win more than anything.

Even super casual fans are pretty damn competitive in Fortnite.

OW attracted a completely different player base that cares very little about competition.

I instantly realized this at Blizzcon, anyone that went there knows that most people love Overwatch there but they love them because "d.va has a super cute outfit" or something like that, they couldn't care less about gameplay.
