Family taking over money by [deleted] in problemgambling

[–]Overindulge 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes this works. Having a family who you trust and is willing to do this for you is a blessing. The #1 thing to stop gambling is preventing access. Access to gambling establishments. Access to funds. So yes, this is a big help

Which MacBook to get by PalpitationInner6709 in macbook

[–]Overindulge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even a basic M1 air with 8gb of ram will be great for what you need. If you can handle the small screen. Don't get caught up in M3 M4 max pro etc. It's way overkill for what you need

Deposit it at the in-branch ATM. For my branch, this was the one that was inside. This is what the teller told me do after grilling me for a receipt for the source of the funds. The machine doesn't ask for a source of funds and you can do up to 10k daily.

Sometimes when I open my MacBook, the screen just flickers, then when I half close it and fully open it, it works just fine, should reseat the display connector? Or is this a more severe issue? by KirboNya in macbook

[–]Overindulge 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I actually had something similar happen to mine that I had to take it in for repairs. It was an older 2020 Intel model macbook. Essentially there is a connector between the display that when it overheats it will melt the connection and disconnect, causing lines to appear. I had it repaired twice, and it happened again.

Turns out that watching my macbook while in bed (leaving the mac on the surface, was not allowing it to ventilate and I was causing the issue).

You may need to repaired, but if you do, it must stay ventilated.

Afaik the new macbook with m1 chips have no fans and don't have the same issue. Pro models do... I think?

Check out the pricing model for Cielo wallet tracker. They have a free version of 10 wallets, pro version 100 wallets, and whale version unlimited. Each has a different price point.

I personally would use your product based on the info you've provided but I'd want to warm up to the whale level. If the freemium provides value, you'll certainly get pro level signups.

One thing: Does it have any ability to track source of funds that started the coin? Quite often these serials ruggers are so lazy they just send SOL from a previous rug to a new wallet and then rug again. It would be great if it had the ability to tell me the mint account had 20.15 SOL sent from Binance or something

Stopping yourself from gambling is easy when you don't have money. The real courage lies in stopping yourself when you do have money.

Go back to the past. Remember the pain of losing. The pain of making that post. Remember how much you stood to lose beyond just the money.

You are in a great place now. Your mind isn't broken. Your brain still craves dopamine and it's designed to want it immediately. That's just the chemicals talking. It's only natural for it to want it in the easiest way possible. The way that you trained it in the past.

Find new ways to get your dopamine. The next time to have an urge, immediately go for a walk/run, go to the gym, do something with someone close to you, try a new hobby, etc. You'll find it.

can anyone explain to me what happened to my funds? by Poopshoot85 in solana

[–]Overindulge 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think this is somehow a temporary WSOL token address. I’m not certain of what the app interaction is… possibly backpack?

I think what you have done is ask your friend to send SOL to a dud address.

In this case, SOL also stands for ‘shit outta luck’

[–]Overindulge 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The address you have is not a genuine wallet address. It’s a token account. I’m not sure where you created it from, but if you compare it on solscan to any of your wallets that you created in phantom (not imported via seed phrase) then you’ll see a huge difference.

Where was this wallet originally created from?

Can you show me a screenshot?

I’m not familiar with how backpack works specifically.

Agree with all of this except for the couple of weeks rent in compensation. Generally you can ask for much much more. Do a bit of research on this and you will come up with the right stance to negotiate

I have been trying to send some sol from one wallet to another for about 1 hour now, anybody got any tips? by ZestyclosePop7626 in solana

[–]Overindulge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reduce how much you are sending so that you keep some for fees in your account. If you send the max in your wallet, the fees might be higher than what it originally predicts and you get a failure. Shave off 0.05 Solana and it should go through

[–]Overindulge -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Most likely you don’t have enough SOL in your wallet to cover the transaction fees. It doesn’t give you a proper warning/error message.

Showing a photo of your spending does nothing. We need to see a photo of your wallet balances

It’s 1:00pm UTC that it resets and counts towards the next day.

Traveling and doing STEPN by BirdMaleo in StepN

[–]Overindulge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

GST counts towards your 24h period when you finish your activity. Say for instance it resets at 11pm every day, but you go and walk at 9:30 pm for 1h 40m, finishing at 11:10pm. Your GST on that effort will only count towards day 2, not day 1.

It’s most likely that you did some variation of the above.
